- We spent 48 hours on an adventure casting around some remote islands and coastlines. This epic trip left me utterly speechless so many times. A chance at truly world class fish. Fish that some will only have a shot at once in their lifetime. Fishing with my good friends @LandsharkOutdoors and @ScottRoseFishing This is an epic adventure, I hope you all enjoy!

So I guess my editing software and CZcams had issues processing some text overlays, hope it’s not too distracting! We’ll fix it on the next video! Tight lines everyone 🤙🏼
No Stella's Ryan?
The only gripe I have with this reel is the weight, but that goes with the size of the reel czcams.com/users/postUgkxM68VkfsQhHaabDce1IwOCXuvumcpbZ_k . I brought this salmon fishing up in Oswego, NY. I coupled it with a Cabela's Whuppin Stick. I had no problem pulling in a 14lb salmon. I will probably use this for surf fishing this summer and downgrade to a 3500 series Battle II next salmon season to save my wrists. All of the operations are butter smooth and the bail is nice and thick and has a solid flip to it. Everything about this reel is sturdy and strong. The drag system held up to the salmon and was also super smooth. I did use a scale to set the drag properly before going out to the river and this worked out tremendously. A bunch of other guys on the river would hook up and snap almost immediately. Just because you have a good drag system doesn't do anything if you don't set it correctly.
I hope y’all enjoyed this series, a definite trip of a lifetime! 🤙🏼🍻
Something that has worked. Come off the plug with a large Tony Armetto Pet spoon. Tie it to the tail of the plug with a foot to 18" of line. Bet subsurface gets hammered with the plug as a teaser. Casting is a problem but trolling it is awesome slow. We've even done this without hooks on the plug, strictly teaser.
Hey Ryan some of your footage has little video errors but it’s not too distracting. Seems like a lifetime experience!
Happens to the best of us haha, glad you enjoyed it anyways!
Nothing beats fishing with artificials!!! Awesome video man. Quickly becoming my favourite channel. Love your style of videos. Thumbs up for giving the rod/reel/braid/lure being used.
Did a little sport fishing in La Paz years ago while there for a wedding - tried to find a Rooster fish (it was on my "short list" of fish I couldn't find in my home waters in hawaii)
Never hooked up "Pez Gallo" did find some Sierra (wanted to eat one... sashimi style. yes, it was effin' delicious) and a ton of california yellowtail. The yellowtails were Fun, took one back to the hotel and had the kitchen clean and portion it out. For me and the wedding guests.
gave the rest of the yellowtail to the captain to take to market for his family.
Had an absolute field day with juvenile pacific dog snapper (called pargo in mexico.) And kelp bass On my ultralight From shore next to the hotel.
Hooked a pretty big pargo on a charter. Found a big cabrilla also - we had the hotel clean and cook both the big snapper and the grouper up for anyone from the wedding party or hotel staff who wanted to have some
The panga captain was a little confused at first - cause i didn't want to target darado, billfish or tuna (i have these at home!)
Told him about hawaii, and the fish i would target from my kayak - and he got it - i wanted to catch something I'd never seen before.
He tried his best to put me on a Rooster. We never did find one.
What i like about your vid. Is it is realistic , not faking it. True angler 🤙🏼
You know life is good when u reach keywest and a Ryan morie vid comes out
I'm here for you my guy!
Great time! I see Victor got a trip away with the boys without Brook. Ha! Tight Lines Fellas!
The fishing spot is very beautiful and very comfortable.. 🎣🎣👍👍
I love fishing so exciting...to catch big fish.... God bless you guys...
WOW, what a video 🔥! Watching this series has to be the next best thing to being there. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!
Stay safe out there brother.
I appreciate you Ed!
Great video Ryan and way to grind for that big Rooster! Whole trip looked amazing and I'm glad you got to catch your target species! A trip like this is on my bucket list for sure.
Thanks my man!
Way to go ryan! Always so excited to watch your videos when they come out!🤙🏼
Number 1 fan
Great video. Thx!
Great lifetime experience.
Epic, Ryan!
Thanks buddy for the video Ryan 👍
Awesome video
Thanks for watching!
Omg the food looked so damm delicious!! ❤😮😮
Your channel is crazy dude. I have no idea why you don't have a few hundred K subs...
hey ryan your a wonderful youtuber i recommed for you to try deerfield pier when you get back from panama huge 6ft tarpon
Sick video dude. The drone footage was unreal! I need to cross a rooster off my bucket list soon, on top water would be ideal!
I appreciate you dude!
Vics the top chef by far
Awesome 👍🏼💪
underrated channel, new sub!
I’m down. Love it. I plan on booking
You'll have a great time!
Nice dude, looks really fun. You should do a review of the Fin Nor LT100, I honestly think it's drag and power is comparable to the $1k reels. Would love to know what you think of it.
Really nice cero 👍I have the junior world record for cero 14lb+. Once again awesome video.
the top water explosion all the way great vid ryan
I get hyped everytime!
Couldn't have said it better myself Its just fishing chasing the dream.
Exactly!
Should have visited and did a collaboration with Robert Field at Los busos
Hopefully I will one day!
If you're hook bend out while fishin' only 20-25lbs of drag you really need some stronger hooks! BKK makes the best trebles (was a Owner fan but BKK really puts them to shame) I know without any doubt and in general they're hooks are pretty unique, they don't flex, they just stay unchanged under pressure till pushed too far when they slowly straighten out, which improves hook sets cause no energy is lost to flex the hook like it normally is the case. Just to give you an idea: the #6 Raptor Z which is absolutely tiny bends out at 50-55lb, so with these hooks you can use any size and don't need to be worried. If you want a bit lighter hook, the Raptor X is the right one and for really big, barbless trebles the GT REX. Thanks to these hooks the amount of lures I can use for big fish has at least doubled because I can use a hoof that suits the lure and put crazy pressure behind it on any size
Oh yeah, as long as you haven't resharpened them, which you normally only need after bein' snagged a few times, they seem to be pretty much immune to rust as well
Mancing mania mantsp.....🖒🖒🖒🖒🖒🖒
Lunar, means Birthmark 💪🏽, sick video Hermano 💪🏽
Interesting coloration on that 'cuda
Seems that the panamanian great barracuda don't display the random black dots that are seen in the same fish here in Hawaii
(We have great barracuda, local name is kaku - they can get up to 6' long)
We have two types of barracuda in Hawaii - the great barracuda (which is the larger one here) or Kaku
And the Heller's Barracuda (which is much smaller and closer to the pacific or california barricuda) we call that one Kawele'a
IMHO the Heller's is the better eating fish - typically i don't keep the large kaku... cigatera risk.
Heller's are delicious on the grill though
Curious about the Pacific sierra mackerel. You said they are delicious. Do they taste like cero mackerel or maybe small wahoo?
On your biggest popping set up, what size is that reel? How many lbs is the main line? Can that set be used on a stickbait as well? How do you book your trip to that location? Can you tell price pay for 3 days? Did you let go your catch or keep them with you since you were there just 2 of you? And you used FC popper, don't you afraid of losing that lure? LOL saw the guys in Australia love that lures.
Im your fan from Cambodia
Great Video man! Who makes the proper in the thumbnail? Nvm should have waited till the end of the video 🤙
9:55 “posse billy” ???😭
Hey ryan me and my friends started and outdoors, fishing, etc channel around 1 week ago and we have been posting youtube shorts only. when you were first started to get lots of views, how long did you take time editing or how much effort did you put in your videos? Our channel is called “NSB Outdoors” by the way. Hopefully you respond because you are basically my favorite youtuber.🎣
It's tough to say, I made vids on and off for 5 years while in the military so I'm not a good channel to base your assumptions from. I just try to get 1% better with every video I make
Hello I just checked out your channel and subscribed! I just started a new fishing channel a few weeks ago, too!
Those cero are huge 😮
Dude they’re delicious too
What rod do you recommend for a saltistmq 5000 reel ?
🔥🔥🔥
🤙
Hey Ryan, what size Reel is on your heavy setup ? And leader .
So when are you guys making the trip to aus for some popping and jigging? ;)
Oh man, I would do it tomorrow if I could
Come to Western Australia next!
I'd love to one day!
Hello where you find this pink piece
Your videos are seriously dope man. I rarely comment on YT fishing videos like that but I gotta give props to the video quality/editing and drone shots. Do you work in video editing or is it from doing it for YT videos?
I’m self taught, I just try to make each CZcams video 1% better than the last! They are no-where near as good as I want them to be, but we’ll get there one day haha
@@RyanMorie not a bad philosophy, just 1% adds up over time.
junooo ryann boyy
The real ones know!
ryan be saving the day mad boring until he posts
I'm here for you my guy
Where I find the pink bait thanks
The meat has the same color as the teeth on those hound fish witch is tasty smoked
Only use bkk raptor trebbles and bkk diabolo singles on big lures and only really high quality splitrings, same goes for swivels, good terminal takle is extremly important, imagine you hook the fish of your life and your hooks bend or your snap or splitring bends open or unravels.
Its worth spending a few extra $ on good terminal takle if you spend a shitload on rods and reels, you would not use shitty tires on a lambo right 😂
how do you transport your rods? those arent 1 piece are they
Something fkn huge flashed on that fish @ 8:12 bud... Dark brown on the left of the rod. You must have not seen it in person? There's def something chasing that fish...
There a reason yall arnt using single hooks?
Can you bring me fishing with you please
What length leader do you use?
For casting plugs like 3 feet, jigging like 12
Charters? Want best results? Free the guide up. Make it clear,we may initially go after a certain fish, but if it's not happening? Take us where you need to for what ever you think might be working for today.
First- love your vids btw ur a beast
Thanks my guy
Where is your stella mate ?
Who cares about editing bro? Like I said before fishing with your good people makes it worth watching. Fish on Ryan.
Thanks for watching!
Hook up sambaran yang luar biasa kawan mntap
You have issues with sharks eating fish? Seems like they’re not a problem over there unlike here in Jupiter
Any setup with a 14k or less is a medium or light setup 😉
I knew you would comment this
@@RyanMorie 😇😁😅
What is the name of this place
What's that reel in the thumbnail?
Almaco and amber jacks are not the same
No Stella's??
Nah, more of a fan of the newer Saltigas than the new Stella’s personally.
@@RyanMorie what about the performance?
What kind barracuda is that?
We called it a pacific barracuda but apparently there are a bunch of different species of them.
Anyone else getting that r with an exclamation point
Trying to fix it now! An error on my video editors part
It's a panga not a painga
Kill the Cuda really, why kill the biggest fish around, you guys really about that ?
It would behoove you not to take the Lord’s name in vain
I understand keeping some fishes to eat, but there... Too many fishes killed for me, sorry... 👎
Repent and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ
Never seen a captain and their crew choose to gaff and keep a fish that a client caught. That barracuda shoulda been released if Ryan wanted to, since it was his fish.
Third world people in third world countries I guess…don’t know how to act
Idiot. Plenty of Americans kill everything that moves.
