I don't know what is the story of this video, but I guess the lady behind him is a singer making a show. Sting was around was invited to play a song and he did. This is not a "professional" performance from sting. He is just having fun among people.

You are right, the woman behind him is a good singer and she was invited to play at the summer party...suddenly Sting took the guitar and started to play..she never expected it..it was a wonderful surprise for all of us!
