This has been my go-to style since I became natural 10 years ago. My curl pattern is tighter than yours so I always keep my braids closer to my hairline, then down next to my ears to prevent the fuzzies from creeping up too soon. I’d also wrap the braids around and tuck the ends under each braid to make a faux goddess braid. My hair is too long for that now, but these braids offer many styling options. I rarely rock the braid out though. Perhaps I need to start again.
So glad you did this because I've been wanting to do these on my own head for a while now and I feel like I can actually follow this tutorial as I'm more visual than auditory when it comes to learning. Thanks!

Thank you for this video, I recently moved to Guam and my curls are out of wack and so I started braiding my hair but didn’t know what products to use for the fly aways. Will try these and see how it works.
Practice makes perfect because girl your hair looks flawless! My problems are keeping the braids tight and in the same spots... lol like one will be towards the side and the other towards the middle 🤦🏽♀️

i dutch braid but i can never braid back like you can, it always comes out on the side and looks weird.

kayla s it took me forever to figure out how to do it, i can do it when i’m standing but not when i’m sitting. i just contort my arms in a weird position so they are always behind my head. and i’m always bending my head down. and i tilt my head to the side. your arms will get really tired but it’s worth it to make it look better😂

So when you’re braiding to the scalp, when you grab a section of hair are you adding it to the middle strand? I know how to do a regular 3 strand braid but when it comes to scalp braiding I just can’t get it!
I have straight hair but it is very thick and heavy and sometimes can be very course and gets frizzy too. The first two days it’s pretty smooth looking but i wonder if i am washing it too hot now. Or i need more product in it. I am going to buy that leave in conditioner.

Thanks for the videos!! Can you tell us the brand of the spray bottle from amazon; I bought one from the dollar store the regular spray bottle it takes me so much time Bc it won't spray when I need it to.
Also, can you do a tutorial of how you do your makeup? We are the same skin complexion sort of and so far you're the best girl with natural makeup on that I've ever seen and so beautiful 😍 I'm in love😂😂 I couldn't concentrate looking at the braids with the makeup🤗🙌🏼

She does it much more tight so if you can do this braid just look wonky ? Try grabbing it harder and literally putting pressure on your scalp to make it tighter
You dont want to do it too tight because it isn’t good for your scalp or hair.

I braid my hair twice a week and rock the braid out afterwards . It take takes me about 20 mins to 30 mins bc my hair is so long.

Hey girl I appreciate you! Your hair looks dope! This is my fav style! I have tried multiple times, trying to do this French braid! It's just not working 4 me! I've tried, 'm so frustrated, and over it! My hair is super curly wavy like yours. Looks easy but afters hours it's a wrap. I will pay for someone to do this! My patience is too short 4 this! 🤣😆😟

When you have curly hair do you have to brush it or comb it out everyday. Like is that a big thing to do to get it healthy. I am trying to get to my natural and healthy curly hair but don't know how to sorry this is so long
I only brush my hair once a week when I wash it! But I also wear my hair in braids just like in the video for 3 days so it doesn't tangle up as much. It will depend on how tangly it gets. If you wear styles like braids for example, you might not have to brush it so often! It will still be very healthy :) If you brush it too much or if you aren't gentle with brushing you may break your hair so always be patient when you are detangling it
