- We go to White House Beach Caravan and Motorhome Club Site at Kessingland near Lowestoft in Suffolk, England. In this video we take a look around the campsite and go to local beauty spot Carlton Marshes for an enjoyable walk in the Suffolk countryside.

Lovely site, we were Lucky enough to be offered a pitch on the beach front which was lovely, we must have timed it just right.😊x
It’s lovely up there but nearly always windy. No awnings allowed either. We chose the other end of the park for shelter this time. 😃🚐👍🏻 Trev

It’s a lovely place. The county of Suffolk is lucky to have a quaint coastline and some sleepy villages which add to the charm 😃🚐 Trev
Looks like a nice campground. Love the beach. Any time I can camp near a beach is great! Or any time I can just go to the beach is great. It’s my happy place! How fun to have Joe on your trip! That was a really pretty rainbow!

Very flat and windy on the marshes. Wet too, we got caught in a quick downpour but didn’t spoil the day. Tea shop cafe was closed when we got back from walk sadly 😕 take care 🚐💙 Trev
Always great to be near the sea isn’t it can’t beat a walk along the beach. Nice to see Joe again too. Looked like the usual high standards of C&MC.

This is a lovely site but facilities are a little dated but nevertheless very clean and functional. Always a nice spot to visit in warm weather but can be a bit wild as the most easterly point in England 😃🚐 Trev
Hi Trev Sue a brilliant video as ever and well done trev for filming in that wind you did well to stay upright! It looks a lovely place to stay and visit we have been fairly near there we stayed at hopton on sea and went down as far as southwold and to the broads would love to come back over again as so much more to explore was a decent drive from the West Midlands with an 8 and 4 year old but we all enjoyed it very much! Welcome Daniel and thank you for your kind comments. I often talk more on the videos but the wind and microphones were not playing fair so I kept it fairly simple. Thank you, we didn't film much as we were catching up with a lot of chat but the walks were much enjoyed by us all. Sue did 17,000 steps on a walk to Lowestoft but I didn't go with her on that hike. Yes, very excited about Joe taking his van to France. Its 1,000 mile tour over 4 weeks. More info about it in May before we set off. :) Trev

Yes it was a lovely weekend. We had some heavy showers but it wasn’t bitterly cold and spring was definitely in the air. The east coast can be a bit wild at times 😃🚐💙 Trev
That looks a nice spot, with direct access to the beach - bet it gets very busy in the summer hols though…. Lovely sight only been once but had an amazing pitch on the annexe overlooking the sea. We also met some brilliant people in a pub down in Kesgrave.😉
The beachside pitches are very unique and rarely can you get so close to the promenade 😃 those ipswich folk are a funny lot 🤣🤣👍🏻 Trev

I love that site and we have been rallying there for about the last 38 years, every October, but unfortunately we couldn't get any marshals this year for the first time ! Bill. Norfolk Centre.
Hi Bill, it’s very difficult to get volunteers for the old established clubs these days. There are many more new clubs with fresh ideas and younger people running them, which from my viewpoint appears to be attracting the crowds now. As you know, we have been rallying with the Suffolk’s since 1984 and never have we seen such a decline in volunteers willing to help run events. We wonder whether the current structure of Centres will survive. It seems that the CAMC have plans to update this site with new buildings and serviced pitches in the next 3 years. It’s definitely in need of update and in my opinion should be prioritised as the only jewel in the Suffolk CAMC crown. 🙂 Trev

We stayed in Kessingland last summer but on the site near the wild life park. We walked to the beach with the dogs and I wanted to walk to Lowestoft but Ivan said it was further than it looked and it was very hot! Maybe this year 🤔 It will be lovely following your tour in France with Sheila and Joe. I still have the end of your last European tour to watch so that will be nice. Thanks for sharing another great video. I liked the start with the music accompaniment, it was different.
