I was so happy so see Mark is still in the game at the end of the video when they did the flipping, wish him all the best, salute~!
will be good idea to put longer AR glass scrim to cover the corners too.
Pro Tip for spraying -- Reverse the hopper 180 degrees! I learned this from doing many many sq ft of spray knockdown work. It will prevent you spillng any on your target
Amazing. What i’d love to see is how this beast is taken down, transported and installed. Is there any video in the library that shows this? I’ve been asked to make one and those parts are worrisome
I have a client that wants a 10' by 5' island with a waterfall edge. I can fabricate the concrete, but how and the hell I'll be able to move it I don't know.
I want to make my countertop like that. I want to mold it it place and let the piece under and only remove the sides. Can I make that concrete ( 1/2") directly on a plywood sheet ? my countertops are way too big to be mold outside and than installed.
Will it move with time? what would be the best material to put under and let it there forever?
thank you

hey how long does your mix last before it start to dry up? been having with a pre-mix bag were trying out, it hard to keep it from drying up on a big pour like this one. its good for like 5 mins after that is start to set up to the point the it cant even flow out of a cup
Good
Hi, this is Gonzalo from Argentina.
I want to ask you two questions:
1) why when I spray vertical walls of the mould, face coat does not “stick” or is like it melt and fall down the mould on some “random” places.
2) using a smaller size of sand, results in a softer and better finish or a soft surface ir a consequence to spray technique or other factors?
Thank you a lot for your help!
Email your mix design to info@trinic.us and we will take a look at why the face coat is sliding off.
What is the name of the hopper that you used and the diameter of the nozzle? I already have 2 air pressurizers and the materials, I just need a hopper and the right nozzle and I'll be able to build my melamine forms to get to work
This is the MK3 hopper gun Trinic sells. It is on our website and comes with everything you need.
@@TrinicLLC thank you
can i ask why do you spray the first coat??
For a Smooth face
How much weight would you guess this table can hold? I really want to cast a similarly thin desktop to reduce weight but I'm nervous I'll end up with a bunch of broken concrete on my floor next to my crushed computer lol.
Ragnar Lothbrok probably a little over 600#. More if you post tension it
@@TrinicLLC Wow, thank you
Ragnar Lothbrok your welcome. If you need more info my email is info@trinic.us
Ragnar - just don't do any blood eagles on your concrete altar. See you in Valhalla.
А не потеряет он свою геометрию в процессе сушки?
`whats the size and thickness?
Sorry for the late response... The form is about 8 feet long and the concrete is 3/4" thick
This could have been a five minute video.. I suppose that some people watch these videos for pleasure. I watch these videos to learn and I don’t learn anything by watching a 10 minute segment of somebody with a drywall gun. Call me crazy call me a pervert, but I wish people would just get on with it.
Appreciate your comment. We're working on more short form videos. We can take a look at this one to see if we can edit it down and repost a condensed version. Then there are those people that have commented that our videos cut out to much and they want a complete ended to end video. Can't please everyone all the time...
Terrible music too!!!!
