Sonic the Hedgehog Deaths: Gruesome to Most Gruesome
Sonic the Hedgehog has always been considered lighthearted and fun to play. You run fast, go through loops, collect rings, and stop the evil Dr. Eggman. But, little did we know, the franchise would sometimes take a dark turn. These gruesome moments would range from falling, getting stabbed and wounded, and even murder. Fans would either shed a tear or roll their eyes at how ridiculous this 180-degree change was. Whatever direction Sonic goes, these characters still reach their demise regardless, and we're here to rank them from simple defeats to straight-up death.

Did you know that the Shadow the hedgehog game was actually supposed to be rated Teen, because they included blood and the actual graphic death scene of Maria. But two months or so before the release they took out the blood and changed the rating, so they could attract a wider spectrum of players.
Visually, Dark Gaia has the most Gruesome Death just by his last moments on screen in a cinematic death. All of his eyes are completely gone and a green blood-like substance spewing out everywhere as he falls into the core of the planet.
The thing is that it doesn't die, it just falls back into the core of the earth until it wakes up again.

Great video! Only Secret Rings & Black Knight are actually part of the main game series as Sonic mentions Shahra in Sonic Generations meaning that you missed Shahra's sacrifice for Sonic against Erazor Djinn's blade and Caliburn's sacrifice for Sonic against the Dark Queens magic that got his blade cut in half.
Just because it is canon does not mean it is part of the main series.

The entire time, I was expecting to see tails on there for Game Gear Sonic 2's bad ending. I was kind of surprised to see it not on there.
Even though itâs never confirmed that he died or not and is only a fan theory that was taken way too far and way too literally. Only evidence is tails constellation but, by that logic Sonic and Tails both die in the good ending since both of their constellations appear in the sky.

Semi Fun Fact: Because of Sonic Forces failing in hype and living up to the high expectations, the Sonic Fandom is now hating it but praising Sonic 06. A broken game that for the over a decade was regarded as one of the worst video games ever made.

Sonic 06 while broken and unfinished is actually a decent game. It is not bad. Forces was actually a great game. The problem was that it was short, failed in hype, and some of its elements were fully utilized.

We do know that the Deadly 6 are still alive since we've seen Zavok and Zazz come back (as proved in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games, Sonic Forces, and Team Sonic Racing).

About Blaze not bothering advising Silver to reconsider killing Sonic:
Blaze never actually knew what he was up to. She didn't witness them fighting in the past and she didn't see Mephiles' "Vision". So the only thing she knew was that Silver was hunting a "blue hedgehog". And since she probably couldn't believe that Sonic would attempt to destroy the world, she probably just thought it's be another blue hedgehog. Given that antropomorphic, colorful hedgehogs seem to be everywhere in that universe anyways.
