- Well, folks, you have to let this sink in. You spend years looking for the right sound for you, replacing high-end devices, going to audio trade fairs, only to be shocked by the poor sound and quickly be satisfied with your chain again. You talk in forums and with friends to possibly find a new device or a tuning that will make you musically happy. Then suddenly an unknown manufacturer from Italy/Venice comes along with a veteran from the good old high-end days and we have arrived in audio nirvana. And that with Class D amplifier technology. Sacrilege! But it is so. Let Maria 350 warm you up for 30 minutes and off you go on your way to Nirvana. Long nights guaranteed, that's what I call a new dimension of listening pleasure - Levinsion! By Mark Levinson and his Daniel Hertz! For me this is a real analogue sound with no stress! And this is good to everyone. Cheers Mike

Hi, yes and no :)..I always listened to the Soulnote A2 at 23 and rarely had to change anything. But it was pleasant with the remote control. I find that once I have found my volume with Maria 350, I no longer have to adjust it. For the sound advantage, I like to stand up just to turn up the volume because it sounds so open and real... cheerrs Mike
Pls compare it to your Soulnote A-2 using the small box as source for a honest comparison. I’m especially curious if the Maria is as natural and rich sounding. :)

Wow inside the unit there's less going on than in the lhy sw10 switch. 12k euro? Why are you not going directly from the music server 2.0 to the maria, are you using it only as a roon core and not endpoint? Why so?
Hi, unfortunately, I find your criticism somewhat inappropriate as the comparison is unfair. I have both devices here, you might want to look at the pictures on DH's website without the metal lid/cooling plate. The sound result also counts in a fair evaluation; owners of Maria 350 sell their systems that cost many times more. Proof enough. I had Arce in Clocksync with the Terminator+, which is a combination that's hard to beat. Now comes an upgrade with a Denafrips clock for the Arche or the big solution of a USB card from JCat with OCXO for the server... let's see. Cheers Mike
