Funny you are in Finland and have an Alaska Malamute and I am in Alaska with a Finnish Tamaskin! He keeps me safe with his bear bell harness making noise as we go and he jumps and plays. He has already saved my wife and I from a Grizzly the size of a VW Bus!
Oh wow, that's funny AND impressive. We have bears as well but nowhere near as much as you guys have over there. Personally (luckily) haven't encountered any yet, but I have seen their tracks several times.
I have been impressed with the shelter so fark. Could use another vent though. And I agree, rain on the shelter is relaxing, especially when you got a cup of coffee in your hands and can just lay back and enjoy the experience.
It was definitely a warm day. I remember how last year after Finnish Nature Day weekend the temps dropped 10-15C and stayed that way 😅 This week we’ve had more rains but only around 5C drop from last week.

@@TaivalOutdoors Ive had several run in with bears. in 2013 I was attacked by a 650lbs Grizzly... Mate, you don't ever want to have that happen.

Warmer than average. Average temperature in August is 15-16°C in Southern Finland.
