I couldn't stop crying. What an amazing woman. I felt ashamed of some of my own behaviors. Allah please guide us to shake off behaviors that are not needed and help us pick up characters of our mother Khadijha Raliyallahu anha .

I was raised Roman Catholic but converted to Islam years ago. I have started to watch this series and I can't help but draw comparisons between the Palestinians and the Prophet (pbuh) and his companions. As an ex Christian who converted or reverted to islam 18 years ago, it pains me to say I'm ashamed that I DON'T even possess a mustard seed of trait or behaviour or character or personality of the prophet(saw), companions, his wives or just good , sincere Muslims in general. I was watching a video by a misogynistic preacher who i wont name. He kept harping on about getting married to young women and ridiculing women who for some reason were unable to get married and want to get married late. He was making fun of them to a revolting level. The prophet married a woman so much older than him why do most men and women forget that?

Yes! I wish I was raised with such stories. I was just taught to pray and not to cross boudaries with the opposite gender, but I wish I was taught patience, wisdom and generosity of Khadija RA ❤️

I had no idea I would be sobbing at the story of Khadijah RA and Prophet Muhammad (SAW).... what a magnificent woman, wife, mother, believer, she was so very special. SubhanAllah!
This man is just brilliant. I could listen to him speak all day. He brings the history of islam to jump off the pages and brings the people to life. I am learning so much from listening to this program.
Khadijah’s wedding
Marriage required the consent of the bride’s guardian, and Khadijah’s father Khuwaylid had refused her previous suitors. Given his poverty relative to Khadijah's previous suitors, it was clear that Muhammad would not be acceptable to her father. It is recorded that she therefore plotted to secure his permission through trickery. She plied her father with wine until he was drunk. Then she slaughtered a cow, covered his shoulders with a new striped robe and sprinkled him with perfume, whereupon Muhammad and his uncles entered the house. Khadijah extracted the legally binding words from her father while he was too inebriated to know what he was saying. As the day wore on and the wedding party was in full swing, Khuwaylid recovered his sobriety enough to ask, “What is this meat, this robe and this perfume?” Khadijah replied, “You have given me in marriage to Muhammad ibn Abdullah.” Khuwaylid was as furious as his daughter had expected, protesting that he had never consented to any such thing and even unsheathing his sword. Muhammad’s kin also brandished weapons, and bloodshed was avoided. Muhammad was now Khadijah’s husband

I am reminded how people are so important to us, their presence and grace in our lives, and how we must treasure them; I say this as a sister to a brother who recently (a few weeks' ago) passed due to Covid, as Allah swt chose only me to witness his passing, as his family sat waiting in the hospital waiting room, and I had to go to them to announce his death ... 🤲🏾

Alhamdulillah!! What a beautiful soul kadija had. I was born prematurely in fact the doctors told my dad they would keep me 24 hrs in life support machine only if I took just one breath and I did after 24 hrs, not a day went by that I didn't love my father, we never had a single argument in our whole lives. I love my father all the way from earth to paradise. May Allah also love him with merciful love him. 🙏🙏🙏

Sheikh plz don't stop this series . In one of the ep of this series u told that this series will be continued for 3 yrs or something like that . Plz continue this series and I always love ur ending bcz in the end u always tell how did people reacted on their death which is so heartbreaking 💔.

Hello everyone, I am new to islam and my parents are very hostile with my decision and I have to pray, read Quran do everything that a muslim should do in secret, its getting really hard for me especially since I have no excuse on why I fast(so I cant fast) or if I decide to wear hijab they wont allow me. I am still young and depend on my parents, I want to wear the hijab and pray in the mosque and recite Quran loudly without fear, I just want to be like other muslims. Please make Dua for me and for my parents to become muslim they have a very bad idea of islam due to the media’s propaganda, please help me.
