ELK PUZZLE SOLUTION

- Today we're going through the simplest solution for the Hanayama Elk puzzle.

The solution is easy to do but not easy to find first time around.
It's all about one of the pegs on the antlers of the N.O.B piece being very slightly shorter than the others.
Hopefully, the solution you'll see is easy to follow. If you think you can beat my time for how quickly you solve the Hanayama Elk puzzle, comment below with your time.

I solved this without any help in less than 5 minutes. Can't believe this is a level 6 puzzle. Should be level 1 or 2, not the highest level. Way to easy. Still love all my puzzles, but this isn't true level 6. FYI I own close to 50 hanayama puzzles, I only watch your videos after I solve them first myself and I enjoy seeing how you do it versus me. The damn Hourglass still kicks my butt when I break it out, but I can honestly say, I did the puzzle without any help the first time. Fairly proud of that achievement.

I think i ruined mine, the NOB is facing down instead of up idk how to fix it
Without looking at it, I'd guess you need to do the solution with one of the pieces the other way around. Not sure which without trying it myself so see if you can figure it out?

Hmm... I think you'd need to have used a lot of force to reassemble it wrong.

I know it will seem idiotic, but actually, it took me longer to put it back properly into its thermoformed plastic box than to solve it… ^_^; That was impossible to find the exact position Elk would fit inside…
i can do it in 4.9 secs also i managed to beat this puzzle normally after 8 and a half hours

At 0:35 My NOB is facing the other way unlike this
@@kimmiek3763 Ok, so if you flip the other piece the other way and then do the move with the nob piece in the same position as this, you should get it.

I think my puzzle is defective. The pegs are a little too big. It will not go through 0:43 🙁
Double check the orientation you have it in. The only alternative may be that it's a different shorter peg? But if it's a Hanayama version, that shouldn't be the case.

@@hamajixx4525 Getting the right orientation is extremely important, then just keep trying it. It will work eventually, I promise :)
