imagine, pulling up on a supra on a stop light, gaze over and see jay leno and paul walkers brother.
That would be heaven...
Then imagine you look into the rear view mirror and notice that you are Vin diesel and look a down and see you are driving a Dodge Charger. Then you look at your hands and notice they are lobster claws. You take a second look at Jay and Walker and notice that they are actually fish people driving some kind of fish/submarine hybrid. As you inspect your surroundings you notice you are are orbiting saturn. Suddenly someone taps you on your shoulder and asks you how much acid you took. You gaze around your surroundings. It was all a hallucination. You're safely at home in your toaster oven and you've just tucked the little pop tarts in for the night. Mrs. Bread leans over and kisses you goodnight. The sound of the flying horse-humans screaming gently in the summer night lulls you to sleep.

Yeah basically, the iron block in the 2J made it bulletproof. You can easily get over 800 bhp with stock internals.

I was a salesman at a Toyota dealership when these first came out, initially, the sale manager put a $10,000.00 mark-up over the sticker price, no bites, eventually I sold a couple at full sticker, no discount, then they just sat around and nobody bought them, a few non-aspirated sold better than the sequential turbo models, either way, I fell in love with them, same goes for the MR-2's the non-turbo and turbos sat around no interest and the Celica GTS nobody bought them either, just sat around, eventually they all were pucked out to fleet sales department and sold at massive discounts, now all are super collectible, I bought a sequential turbo coupe' (no Targa top) back in 2000, black/black 6-speed, with spoiler (a lot of people used to complain about the spoiler love/hate) with 3,400 miles for $26,000.00 then, miles are under 10,000 now, I was offered $95,000.00, I passed on the offer, recently a similar car sold at auction for $170,000.00. Eventually, they will go where the Toyota 2000 are today, the stratosphere.

Had the pleasure of meeting Paul Walker multiple times at some of the time attacks they mentioned (I crewed for a friend who was competing in the Redline Time Attack series)- I can not say enough nice things about that man from my experiences with him. He absolutely was "just another guy" at the track. He spoke with myself and my friend on multiple occasions, and I never saw him with anything but a smile on his face, always laughing and joking with everyone. It was an awesome experience.

I genuinely miss Paul. When he passed, I felt as if I lost a good friend, maybe even a brother. I grew up addicted to the Fast and the Furious franchise and Paul was always my favorite character with Vin coming in a close second. When I saw Cody my eyes lit up because I know who he is from the last FnF. It kills me that Paul isn't with us today. I always enjoyed his movies and shows.

We took a lot of these cars for granted in our local market. Supra, Celica, Mk2 MR2, 1984 Cressida 2.8 GLXi (Leather Interior),1986 Corolla FX/GT
What most people don't remember is in the early 90s and into the 2000s, Japanese sports cars were still looked at as less than in most circles. They were the 'enemy,' the punchline to the American v8 muscle car. Not saying they performed worse, but in most American's minds these were silly cars from a silly country and were made fun of. I was there, and I wouldn't have been caught dead in a Japanese car during that period. It was just the times.

I'm 30 and grew up watching the fast and furious movies Paul Walker will forever be missed, remembered, loved, appreciated still sad just as the day the news broke maybe it will always be like that for me but I'm sure glad his family and brothers are doing well and wish them the best!

No other celebrity's death or any famous persons death affected me as much as Paul's. He was my favorite in FAST AND FURIOUS and made me love R32s and R34s. I miss that man so much he had a lot going for him in his future and was overall a good man. Seeing Cody just puts a smile on my face because he is the closest one to remind us of Paul. Rest in paradise king!

Cody Walker seems such a down to earth and cool guy. When I first started this video I thought oh my God look at Paul Walker and Jay Leno before realizing that it wasn’t Paul. I really do miss him from the F and F movies and thought him a talented actor who could have really done so much more in his roles. Thank you Jay for posting this video. A close friend owns a modified ‘93 Supra with the 6TC engine that pushes 750 hp in pump gas and over 1,000 hp on racing fuel and a different ECM chip. It’s a pretty impressive car. The lines of the 93 Supra are to me just as timeless in 2022 as in 1993. A truly good looking car.

Both Cody and Jay are such down to earth guys. I enjoyed just listening to them talk about cars so much I almost forgot they were in that awesome Supra. From someone who lost a sibling in a firey car crash, I really simpathize with Cody and his family. Paul was a hell of a guy and it's neat to see Cody is sort of following in his footsteps.

It's just what happens when you put aftermarket panels on. Steel ones you can shape without much problems but without the original molds for the plastic ones it's just a nightmare to line up.

I feel like there is more authentic honesty in this episode than few others. The Supra is epic by itself as well...and unmistakably itself in a passive, authentic way as well. Every personality in this episode is truly genuinely authentic. 👍
Miss my supra, 89 turbo targa. Converted it to a manual transmission ,installed a full roll cage and raced it at local auto cross events for some of the best years of my life. I miss going to the track every weekend. some of the best people you’ll ever meet are the weekend warriors. Mmmmmm race gas and sticky tires.

I was 23 in 1993, and I *so* wanted one of these cars back then. But being only 23, there was just no way I could earn enough to pay for it. And it's such a shame that you cannot find an original one anymore -- not without paying a *ton* of money at any rate. This is still definitely one of my most favorite cars ever, though. Great car, great video!

Only way you’ll find a stock or almost stock Supra is sourcing one from Japan, but it’ll cost ya.. 35K+

Supras aren't worth more than 40-50k anymore because you can buy a Lamborghini Gallardo for 50-80k and build A far more powerful car with a better engine and superior chassis for the same price it would cost to make a 1000hp Supra, which really is only good for the drivetrain
Finding a stock Toyota Supra is like finding a postive comment on the new one.
BMW has made a lot of good cars, so has Toyota, combining them seems like that one fat guy in the corner of a bar putting butter on a poptart, the butter is BMW which is what's gonna kill him while the poptart not that bad

I love domestics/muscle cars but the R34 Skyline and the MkIV Supra seem timeless in their styling. Credit where it's due.
I will never forget he day i rolled out of Tustin Toyota's lot in my new , shiny as hell, black on black 94 Supra TT. Chrome 17" wheels, the huge wing, the Ferrari-esque tail lights, and a targa top. I got absolutely mobbed on the freeway heading back to San Diego. Good times!

Definitely noticed it. I think the paint could have aged different since it is on plastic but what bothered me most was how poorly the front bumper is. It hops and bounces all over the damn place.
yea the aftermarket bumper fitment and paint match is bad, actually drove me nuts while watching the video.

I think the hood was the issue rather than the bumper.

MMA 24/7 it’s an aftermarket bumper and that’s how they look
the hood has 2 latches. they didnt get both latched when closing. thats why the drivers side looks like it has a gap over the bumper @@SneakerDrawings

-ThreePointSlow- it is the bumper cover, but that's why I said hood line not hood. The entire bumper cover is obviously replaced and is totally misaligned and warped, from the fenders to hood line.
Ha Ha, As soon as I saw it thats all I could think about.
It’s an aftermarket ridox front bumper, wasn’t installed the best and I noticed the misalignment especially where it meets the fenders.
