Hi ladies, so happy to see you ladies BACK!!! lol. This MV has a lot of symbolism and metaphors in it. As for Harvey’s teeth, it’s an old Japanese custom to blacken or paint your teeth to show Ohaguro - To Japanese eyes black teeth were beautiful, like shiny black lacquerware, smooth and perfect and blemish free. Black teeth were a mark of sexual maturity and all women, from samurai to farmers, blackened their teeth the moment they got married. Even though Harvey’s were red. The same explanation can be given. Since this MV highlights them as “dolls” hence the bridal veils and their fits.
Also if you guys haven’t heard. There was a debate about the lyrics of the song. But to me and the rest of the men population agrees that the message is not about treating men in a low or bad light. The song is just highlighting the inequality of society. Be it in the music industry in general and in everyday life.
The teeth’s are prosthetic grills. They have a post about it on IG. If you noticed, Harvey’s line, it aligned with her grill as if no one is listening to her. But with Jurin, it’s about her being sharp with her words

I didn't have a favorite group in years. Then XG came in swing on me. These girls are incredibly talented and I enjoy talent. Need a full album from them now and I hope they don't do the jpop thing and disband prematurely. Need them around a long time.
Seriously, blackpink was my bias group and no one came near them for a while but yeah as a blink I got really frustrated with all the delays and hiatus. I would've gladly still be with them but the company is just shit and I can't get myself to be enthusiastic as I was before but XG is really starting to build a home in my heart. I’d also like like to mention to give credit where credit is due. You can hear Rachel West’s vocals on the song as well. She’s the lyricist and also wrote GRL GVNG. On the first verse with Harvey and Jurin’s part. The “ah ah ah ah” part is Rachel. Then on the pre-chorus and chorus parts. She’s doing the ad-libs of every last words on them. And so to the other parts as well. If you look at the song credits, her name is credited as the backing vocals. Knowing XG and Simon, they’re showing love and respect to artists they have worked with. Even on their xyphers and tapes, they always mention the original artists.

6:34 from their socials, they explained that the teeth choices they made correlated to important lyrics that the girls had in the song or just concepts that girls wanted to include like Jurin wanting to elude to having "sharp cutting lyrics" so they gave her sharp cutting teeth, Maya had a line about never being heard and then Harvey comes in right after saying "listen to what comes out my mouth" and her mouth is the first thing we notice in that clip. I loved the styling of this video, there are so many interesting choices that all seem to have some thought and meaning behind them :)
