This is not culture appropriation this is culture Appreciation
As an Indian, I can confirm that babymetal does Indian music better than most Indians
It's sad how people are only discovering these queens this year, their so underrated and iconic
This song is more Indian than our Indian Rock music. Hahahaha. 🤍
This is proof that Babymetal doesn't sweat, they glisten.
It is confirmed, Su metal can handle any type of singing style perfectly.
Oh wowww, so this is basically a song about Indian Hinduism that has a genre of heavy metal & sang by cute Japanese girls in Japanese mix with Indian words like "shanti, atcha"?! wow I'm in!!
Kpop should really learn from this, how to appropriately use another culture without disrespecting it. If Japan, another Asian country, can do it, then Korea can do more research before using the culture, it's really not that hard. I applaud Babymetal and officially stan them. K-pop's track record for culture appropriation is too much, they exploit peoples culture for their own gain in a negative way and stereotype peoples culture too by wearing the peoples clothing as costumes and using their buildings as an aesthetic with no research of knowledge of how important their buildings, clothing, and dances are to the people.
Sometimes I really love to be alive
As an Indian, I approve and love this fusion. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Hindi metal song sang by extremely talented cute Japanese girls.
Japanese girl : Shanti Shanti
really appreciate that instead of just using my culture as an aesthetic by wearing bindis or mehendi like most artists today, they took the effort to properly incorporate the music and dance style into their own.
"How much kaleidoscope effects do you want?"
It is really unbelievable how perfectly they nailed the in sen chord progression typically in Indian music after the bridge. Gets me every single time.
Shanti Shanti, the Prana of living things
Editors: so... How many kaleidoscope effects doy you want?
So how much effects do you want in this MV
I'm so happy that such artists exist who made song on "Shanti" after understanding it and with its real meaning, doing actual semi classical choreography ! Thank you so much Babymetal !!!
This song is one of their best ones. It’s sad they lost a member a lot of good bands are losing members left and right but they left this beautiful music for us fans to hear daily. This is amazing
