That dance Choreography is really out of this world.
It really really is!! Before I knew it, I was doing the fast tiny steps while waiting at the deli this morning. Not a good look for a 52 year old man!! I was a little embarrassed and several people thought I was crazy!!

I don't think you'll ever see that - there's no time for MC and costume changes at a Babymetal show. It's one song after the next with ZERO breaks. Costumes usually last an episode, before they are changed.
Their costumes are fine. I mean when you think that most metal bands just wear black t-shirts and black pants, Babymetal puts far, far more effort into the outfits they already wear.

I agree! I really liked the costumes from a previous tour called the "dark elf" costumes where they had headpieces and a more streamlined look, but a lot of fans complained so they went to back to a more "traditional babymetal" look

We don't hate them, its just not brutal enough and to much fokus on the singers alone. And whoever you are talking about are probably not Metalheads. These people just need something to hate. In my opinion this is just as metal to you as Rammstein is to me, so rock on guys🤘

but of course, not everyone could enjoy everything .D its just the "its not brutal enough" that triggers me .D
I love them. But I introduced several of my music loving friends to several of their songs. And none of them caught on!! I love the music and the girls, even the Yui substitute.

When I first discovered this band every hipster-music snob bone in my body wanted to dislike it but I couldn't, and even if my conclusion were different, the fact that it forced me to do all the mental gymnastics in my head makes it good art by definition, besides metal kind of needed a feminine touch.

There are two in this video, Kano and Momoko. Both were part of Sakura Gakuin, just like Su, Yui, and Moa. They can all sing and dance very well. I didn’t see any shots of Riho, the third dancer they used on their most recent tours, in this video.

Wdym cringeworthy ? This is a really catchy amazing song and has really good dance choreography. I'm an indian and I've got to say they did their research well unlike most of the non-indian artists I've known who use the traditional dances and clothings and a form of aesthetics only and know nothing much about the culture itself and do stereotypical stuff.
