I laid my grubby mitts on a Nova II a few weeks ago, and the best thing about it (from my pov) is that it doesn't stomp all over my other synths in the mix. Yes, the effects do a lot of the donkey work, but the textures still have plenty of room to breathe when you add a nice ambient hardware reverb or echo in a mixer channel. They float nicely, and blend well with ambient TR Rack sounds. It's a keeper.

Nice. I love the Novation stuff. Underrated. Just starting to delve into my MiniNova’s menus. It’s got some (digital) depth to it for sure. Stack the voices and you approximate some of the older analog gear nicely.
Great sound demo! I'd love to own one of these classic synths! (suggestion for future video: Turn a light on. Would be nice to have a better look at the machine!)

I bought a supernova 2 and it seems that the nova2 and sn2 have the same presets (os 1.3) Could you tell me the names of the presets that you have used here? Many thanks!
Considered this synth. Ended up getting the MiniNova. The model Guitar Center had of this had the German language selected and wasn’t in the best shape, or easy to just muck around with. Plus my budget was more MiniNova-ey than Nova II-ey 😁
Mini Nova and the Supernova II are galaxies different both in sound and capabilities. The mini Nova is more a budget synth with very little polyphony compared to this and the sounds are not even close in terms of wow and edit capabilities.
Common problem with these - Noise crackling issue after from the Master left and right ......usually after a few minutes of turning on the Synth..... The fault is the Triac on the main board for the Master Left & Right outputs.............repairing with new triac chip doesn't fix ......its a manufacturing issue - i just reroute the output to 3 & 4.....No problems...

I do no have this problem mine. It works great . Glad you found a way around the crackle .
The problem is in the main out (stereo) DAC chip ... you have to put a new one in its place. There is a company in UK that specialises on this.
Are these factory or custom sounds? Fantastic sounds! I have nova desktop.

What OS version are you running? (Curious, as the patch digits appear much larger than on mine).
They are bigger in the "favourites" section which it looks like he is playing from.....
