    This is a very nice video. I've been growing curry leaf plants in Minnesota for about 10 years. I put them outside in the summer and bring them in for winter. Mine produce flowers and berries which I have planted and shared (so many flowers that I nip most of the buds off). The leaves are truly a unique and wonderful flavor and the plant is also attractive.

    Hi auntie, I am taking care of my mom’s Curry Plant right now and I have been taking care of it since December but there have been no leaves since then till now. I have seen some sprouts of new leaves but they fell after 3 days in march. I am not sure why. I tired fertilizing, I tried moving it into shade, I tried watering more frequently but still no leaves or sign of sprouts. When I broke a very tiny bit of the branch, it was green, so the curry leaf didn’t dry out. But I am not sure my the sprouting leaves keep falling and why it’s not sprouting now. Me and my mom are fairly new to taking care of the curry leaf plant. • @CurryTV

    • @CurryTV
      @CurryTV  Před 4 lety +1

    • @CurryTV

    Are you change the pot annually with new soil ?
    My plant just grow height not enough leaves do you know what’s wrong ?

      V don’t change the soil every year. Lighting and water is very key to health of curry leaf.

      Unless you prune it it doesnot grow fast and also remove bottom leafs along with that stem. Rice cleaned water or epsom salt or one egg diluted in water helps in better growth.. try it..very sour butter milk diluted 1:6 glasses water too

      @@ellenmykkanen3865 pruning time for us is in spring and fall.. small plant leaves are very tender.. once it is big enough that you see the plant is nice and thick then start using. When you cut the stem, a new branch will start to grow from there

If I were u, I would plant my curry leaf plant in a bigger pot and near ur patio door.. note* do not fertilize it so heavily., think ur curry plant as ur own child.. steroids r harmful to baby skin... it’s so fragile... TLC is very much needed... I usually fertilize my plant early spring and late falll......
