I like when South Sudan couldn't score and committed so many turnovers in the 3rd quarter and Chot couldn't draw up an offensive play to save his life and just kept having Clarkson play iso until South Sudan woke up and slapped him upside the head in the 4th quarter.

@@tommyclockhouse we had Baltazar, Tamayo, Heading and Abarrientos before who could've performed basic 2 men action like pick and pop, that would've taken advantage of Sudan's weak quarters, I honestly think I can coach better than chot if I get to decide what players goes in the roster as well as given ample practice time(at least a few months) not even kidding.
With the right structures in South Sudan, they can totally dominate the game of basketball. Those brothers of mine are born giants!

From the start of this game you can already see the importance of perimeter defense in the International Level, the Philippine Team Gilas had no defense for 3pts play. Hopefully they can improve on this and more. ♥
Also on the three point side as well. Gilas Pilipinas really need those.
I agree, almost 80% of opponents three points are never challenge.
It's hard to beat a team were almost all of their 3-point shot is getting in.
It's impossible to beat a team when you have a 7-8 man rotation that relies on isolation plays. Chot got scared of using the full lineup because he doesn't have plays that do not rely on Clarkson being Lebron James, man is literally a pinoy Ty Lue and Doc Rivers

Playing #23 in the 4th quarter, was a huge mistake. By the Coaching Staff. #4 is a much better Point Guard! Gilas wins by 8, if the right players, were in.

its such an honor as a filipino that the philippines won the hosting right for this FIBA worldcup because of the people's love for the game, but its such a shame that the people in philippine basketball organization is only in there for the money and it shows on the teams performance and by replacing a quality coach for chot reyes
Not only that, the team had no preparation and they barely knew each other. This lineup is the most talented today but they just lack the chemistry.

Gilas depends on Clarkson too much - and he tries to do too much. Give Sotto the ball more download in iso. They needed to be much more physical too.
Sotto isn't very good.....he has shown that against elite competition...time and time again
African Teams (Angola and South Sudan) dominance over Gilas. Basketball 🏀 is a vertical sport, PH should field tall and swift players, Sudan and Angola carefully select their National Team players. Japan has adopted this system and their players have been training training together as 1 unit aside from their stint in their Local Leagues.
