Filipinas way of play always amazed me since I saw a school basketball bout in Jamog village (Tigbauan, Iloilo province). To turn their apparent weakness (height) as a strenght (fast moves).

Of all the 32 teams (countries) competed in 2014 and 2019 FIBA, the Phils. always ended up at the tail-end. Its ranking also improved from the bottom 32 up to the 24th spot w/c was already considered an achievement. Also the Phils. became qualified to participate at the OQT (Olympic Qualifying Tournament) for next year's Paris Olympics. Such opportunity never happened in the past FIBA outings. The most important is the Phils. was able to beat the powerhouse China team only after 10 years (2013) since the Phils. last won.
