- wow, what a finale, guys huh?! how are you holding on? i'm literally dead from the feels. she said i love you, no, she whispered it softly in his ear to be exact in the most lovely and touching way in the perfect timing when he was holding his baby for the very first time and was emotional af and she was crying happy tears and that scene was shot in an angelic way with the most beautful angles i've even seen in my life!!!!!!!!
i am ugly sobbing , i forgot how to breathe at that moment and now i'm the happiest girl in the world because this is so rewarding.
do you remember those 9 unbearable months of waiting between the seasons? when we barely were holding on. i made videos from time to time because i was missing them terribly. but i never could have imagined back then that we would be THAT BLESSED in s2! i mean wow!!! WOW! we basically got everything we could never dream of.
i hope those who were saying she doesn't love him/using him/the show is too depressive will finally shut the fuck up lmao.
the finale almost seemed like a happy ending, i can't believe! am i the only one who's happy she didn't escape because her and nick are not separated? i would hate if she fled to canada to luke lol.
i congratulate all the fans, we won something, finally!!! that ship was the best time and emotions investment! phew.

IrinaRusinova absolutely spot on! I struggle to understand fans on the Facebook group who keep saying it’s silly and dumb to see this as a love story. The whole idea is about love, be it between Nick and June, exes, girlfriends, lovers, parent+child, friends...and the survival instinct that kicks in, driven solely by love. I can’t see it any other way and above all that is Nick and June’s relationship which is KEY to the storyline. ❤️
IrinaRusinova I’ve been meaning to ask you (coz you’ve done so many edits and may have picked up on this) but I can’t for the life of me work out what Nick says when he stares at June while she was sitting in the car wanting to drive away from Boston Globe. If you look closely (which I’m sure you have), he actually mouths something. Just like he was saying “C’mon, C’mon!” when Eden was given a chance to repent before being pushed into the pool. I’ve watched the car scene over and over again and the only think I can kinda read is possibly him saying “they’ll find you, they’ll find you”? I’m bad at lip reading and was hoping someone can work out what he was saying. Help!!?? Lol!

You wouldn't leave one child, so you leave both? I honestly don't know what she was thinking! What is she gonna do? Go back to the home where the people who's baby she just 'stole'? She will be executed! It's not like they're gonna be cool with it when she gets home, she's beyond stupid! The ending made me so angry, but I still love the show.
I was surprised at that last part in the finale but understood it. Her baby was okay after being handed to Emily, her friend. And Hannah was still inside along with Nick. I would have turned around too and I am a mom of one son. I would go back and get my son out and hope to get my lover out too.
theknew classic her baby is safe with Emily, she can’t just leave Hannah. Once you are out of that hell hole Gilead than your okay. Her other poor child is still there let alone Nick. I love Nick he better survive but I have a bad feeling he will die to help and protect June. She better love him as much he loves her and not use him. Any who I totally understand why she stayed, I knew as soon as she told Emily “you are getting out of Gilead”

Child so it breaks her heart to think if she leaves she’ll be abandoning that kid in that hell while the other baby already escaping and has a better chance then Hannah and thats why June is more ok with leaving her
OMG I didn't even realize that both of them said "It's okay" to calm each other down. They're both always there for each other. When June was telling Nick it's okay, my heart broke the way Nick was looking at her. Like, can someone look at me like Nick does to June lol. The way he felt so helpless, seeing the woman he loves getting slapped and not being able to to do anything about it. He's definitely going to be a great husband. Part of me says that June stayed behind for Nick and that she wants to break down Gilead from the inside. Now it's time to binge watch all your Nick/June videos lol!

Side note **** taking it back to episode 7 which I feel like was a foreshadowing for what I believe maybe unpacked later in season 3 (Resistance in my opinion will be the theme this incoming season) now that all the baby stuff is said and done...getting Hannah and Nick...I feel like she can never leave without them case in point episode 2 and 3 she couldn't leave without Hannah and tried to convince herself she could and she asked "is Nick coming" ..... this is quite striking because I always see many people in the fandom asking or commenting about Luke which I have always thought to be a bit ridiculous simply because they are going on 5 years since they last saw each other and her comments about Nick suggest she sees him in her future that doesn't mean that Luke is insignificant that he never mattered...in my opinion she just fell in love again and if we go by season two it was not an easy admission for her...there was guilt so much guilt.
Also in episode 7 June, Serena and Nick worked together to get Cushing out of the picture therefore episode 13 didn't seem like a surprise how the whole Waterford household came together well except for Fred... I am really excited to see the rogue commanders will there be more? Maybe finally we can see other Mayday fraternity and what is Nick's true role in this organization and Rita too, especially since Emily and Holly left in a guardian truck.
So far I enjoyed season one's theme "Freedom" now season two "Motherhood" which gives the highest sense that season 3 everyone will be fighting everybody "Resistance"
I keep seeing people saying Serena is June's possible friend/ally I don't really think this especially since we all know she is to a certain extent worse off than Fred but has a weakness for children that is all.
I wonder which handmaid gets to be pregnant next...maybe Alma? I hope it's not Janine again simply because she has been through too much and June cannot and probably will not allow herself to get pregnant while in Gilead again so I am guessing Nick may have to smuggle contraception for them especially since they are officially Bf and Gf.
Finally come on Fandom she was never leaving Gilead anytime soon, in fact I don't think she will nor will her support system the Nick's etc that is the story they will probably defeat them while in it. Super glad she stayed for various reasons but sad should Emily not make it to wherever she is being shipped to which is highly likely that Holly may find her sweet self back in Gilead hopefully not because I need her parents to be on full fight mode and to get her sister (Hannah) out as well.

I'm currently rewatching from season one I cannot believe I missed some notable mentions early on while walking with Emily ... June clearly mentions how Rita once told her about the Martha's Networks it's amazing the little clues I feel like the writers drop on us but we somehow don't catch on....ask the Marthe at Jezebel's Nick's former fling.
Also, June's dad is mentioned in season one...leaves me wondering is he dead or alive? Nick's brother?
Mr. Flores...Ambassador Castillo's assistant where is he and how did he know about June to begin with? Will they reintroduce his character again?
The gynecologist what's his deal?
Jezebel's was quite popular in the book I wonder if season 3 will feature it more... I feel like a lot of Mayday operations take place there...

I am over the moon that Nick survived the season! I was soooo worried about him. That scene where he held the baby was beyond sweet and the "I love you" was almost too much to handle. I'm so glad she said it back. Now people will have to shut up about how she only loves Luke and Nick is just a distraction. And I am with you on being happy that they did not get separated.

SimplyLex I'm afraid I was one of those people and I'll tell you why. Nick made it pretty obvious fairly early on that he had a crush on June, the way he would look at her, not to mention the scene with the ice when he comes into her room which was a huge mistake imo. It might have started out that he wanted to make sure she was OK after the first Offred killed herself but it quickly became more than that on Nick's behalf anyway, Nick is extremely naive compared to June, who is married and has a child not to mention her life before Gilead, and you could also tell by the way June looked at him that she thought so to. There's an English expression which is a person is ripe for the taking and I think in those early episodes that's exactly what June did, she took advantage of this young, naive man. And of course the other reason I and many people had their doubts deeper into the series was that he told her he loved her twice and she didn't even bat an eyelid, he might as well have said to her an old Gilead favourite, nice weather we're having, for all the acknowledgement she gave. When he tells her the second time she has tears in her eyes but those tears aren't saying, wow this amazing, kind man who's prepared to risk his life for me loves me, those tears are for Luke but again guess who helps her by giving her some space? That same amazing man who by now loves her more than anyone in the world so until that scene in the end when she finally tells him she loves him and which probably started in the kitchen when she comforts him cos he feels so guilty about what happened to Eden, many people including me had doubts and why many people, including me thought she'd go back to Luke and tbh I for one was getting fed up with reading oh isn't Nick amazing cos he's doing such and such for June or this proves how much Nick loves her cos he's doing such and such for June which of course included letting her and Holly go, probably somewhere down the line rescues Hannah and let them be reunited as a family in Canada and what does Nick get - nothing apart from knowing he's done the right thing and saved his daughter from Gilead and proving exactly how much he loves June by letting her go! Fortunately for those of us who don't want June to go back to Luke nothing could be further from the truth
Crying uncontrollably. What a love. Reading the reviews and previews of season 3 make no mention of these incredible emotions we are all so deeply protective of (even mocked! Vox...). Please June, save Hannah, but please please also save Nick. Gilead does not have love as a value. Nick and June are the emobdiment of the pure love that will break Gilead.

Nick's caracter is amazing. Loving her so much and yet not once did he confine her in anyway. Ironically, being them in Gileade, she's so free when it comes to him. He doesn't detain her in any thought or action. I found myself admiring that. I feel that's one of the great messages of the show regarding us women, who get tangled and tricked by this romantic ownership from men when in truth there's still things tying us down nowadays. I shouldn't have to admire Nick, it should be a given for women to be able to receive respect for being free.

I just finished season 2 a while ago and daaammnnn , I cannot control my emotions and I'm crying so hard . Plus, this video added more fuel to the fire . Can't wait for season 3 .

Также нелегко делать разные видео примерно с одним и тем же набором кадров, т.к. дефицит времени в кадре совместных сцен Ника и Джун очевиден. Долго собиралась посмотреть это шоу и была очень удивлена, что оно такое превосходное. Элизабет шикарна, у Макса своеобразная роль, мало слов, но как же он отлично передаёт эмоции своими взглядами, я уж не говорю об этих вздохах, в которых мы можем слышать всё: от желания до безысходности. Наконец-то, он дождался её "Я люблю тебя". Браво режиссёру и сценаристам, момент был идеальным. И мы получили ответ на свой вопрос Люк или Ник, Джун живёт уже в другой жизни. Лично меня в этом сезоне Ник больше всего впечатлил после сцены, где он рассказывает Джун о Люке и его словах. Это было сильно, бескорыстная любовь и понимание всей ситуации, вот это мужчина, подумала я и Джун, наверно, тоже))) Я поглотила два сезона за несколько дней и теперь вливаюсь в ряды ждущих новый сезон. Буду ждать развития не только всей истории, но и отношений этих двух, второй сезон нас порадовал в этом плане
спасибо большое!!! о да, о да, та сцена влюбила меня в Ника еще больше, мне кажется это был момент, который поразил и Джун тоже, я даже в видео воткнула "спасибо тебе за это". Она была поражена тем, как сильно он ее любит, как хотел осчастливить ее этими новостями, хотя самому ему было очень больно и она видела это. Ждем 3 сезон. Нужно сказать, что с таким 2 сезоном и таким финалом ждать намного легче, потому что удовлетворили они нас на все сто ))))

Oh damn, I watched this right after finishing the episode but got caught up in making the video about season 2 and got sidetracked from commenting, I am the worst! Okay, so I'm here again and honestly, I think this is one of my favourite videos of yours I've seen, maybe I can be as bold as to say that it might be indeed my favourite so far. You capture them so beautifully, and the scene they had in this season finale was the sweetest thing I've ever seen. The script said that Nick was overwhelmed, but damn I was overwhelmed looking at him full-on smiling, and when she looks at him, all smiling and happy and just living in the moment... For a second I thought I was looking at the sun. I look forward to seeing more of your videos, so keep 'em coming! :D

IrinaRusinova Just so you know that I’m not being kind, I am just speaking the truth, I just rewatched it and I cried like a freaking idiot. Because this video is just That. Freaking. Great. And I love the song you used. And thank you so much for taking the time to watch my video! I am also half-way through my first Nick and June video, which of course will not be at your level of awesomeness, but I do hope you’ll like it, if you get around to watching it. :) I have just turned the pc off after working on it, and as I was rewatching their scenes, I just couldn’t help but love Nick all the more, he’s like the sweetest and selfless man I’ve ever seen, he deserves the world. And as much as June has tried to keep her feelings in check, I think only a blind person cannot see that she cares deeply for him and loves him, despite not wanting to show it.

Before Serena made them sleep together, they were already on their way to it. The looks. The flirting banter. The chemistry. The sexual tension. I believe they’d have gotten together on their own even with out Serena’s influence. The love is intense. It’s powerful.
OMG, we may just be on the same FB group and let me say some of those people are out of their minds! LOL! I am totally with you - are they even watching the same show, seriously?! (facepalm) None of the points they bring up against Nick make any sense and the best ones are those who keep screaming "this show is NOT about love!". Again, are we watching the same show???
I can't agree with you more - it is what it is. There IS love and some people are just over complicating things, really. She's always preferred being on top from pre-Gilead days with Luke, Nick did not force her to kiss him (the reason she shifted her head was out of worry they would get caught and also out of fear after everything that transpired in that episode and after the bombing) Why else would she ask "What about you?" if she didn't care for him?, and there was absolutely chemistry already present between the two of them way before SJ's plan.
I believe people either don't see it because they need each scene to be explained to them in detail or they just refuse to accept that yes, you can find love in a hopeless place...and that's perfectly OKAY.
I have the same feeling that you do: some people really need each scene to be explained. It seems that they don't get the message... I am in a fan group on fb too, but it's from my country, and I already read absurds about the series and about Nick/June's relationship. They take ideas from nowhere, really. Sorry about the (bad) english.

I'm not that upset June didn't flee, but part of me wants to see her back with Luke, so we can have angst and see her worry about Nick and realize that things aren't the same with Luke, that she just can't go back to her old life.

да!! мне так понравилась эта цитата! чувствуется, что это иллюстрация для любви Ника и Джун в этом сезоне. они прошли столько проверок, особенно "любовь не завидует" офигенно иллюстрирует встречу Ника и Люка, Люк - его соперник, ему было больно столкнуться с тем, что у Джун другая жизнь, что у нее любовь с другим человеком, но он был настолько открыт и честен и бескорыстен !

Just...perfection. So, so beautiful. I haven't been able to get the finale out of my head all day. I was so pissed at first when Nick, Rita, and the Marthas all risked everything to get her out and she handed off her baby and stayed in Gilead! But today, the more I thought about it, the more I loved it because it's all such a powerful story. The strength and sacrifice of motherhood. She saved one child (hopefully) and knows she can't leave until she saves the other.
I love how you used the "Love" bible verse because that so perfectly describes how they love each other. Once again Nick makes the utterly selfless choice to help save June and his daughter knowing that he was risking his life to do so and that, even if he survives, he may never see them again. 😔 I'm just so moved by how pure and brave and self-sacrificing his love is.
And June whispering "I love you" to him has completely filled my heart. I get so happy every time I think about it. She picked the perfect time to tell him and it was SO worth the wait!
It will be a LONG wait until it comes back but I am so happy Nick is still alive and it does make me happy to think that they're both still in Gilead and maybe they will end up fighting together from the inside.

bfndm bdnsk No!! He isn't! But I think a lot of fans were worried he might die somehow in the finale and I had tried to be optimistic but was worried as well. So I was just saying that I was happy he was still alive at the end of the finale. We only see him confront Fred and we don't see how that ended up. But I doubt this show would kill a main character off screen. So I'm sure he'll be back in season 3. Praise be! 😅
