I had just bought a major fishing luck elixir before doing the second fishing quest and the Minor one he gave me literally erased it so it means I spent 250 crowns for nothing

When you equip the Seafarer's Set does it automatically give you that energy or is it just more that has to be filled up. Like is that set more so used for the luck part?

you can get the cuddlefish really easily by going to the battlemage's castle. it's the only death fish there

It just increases your max energy. You will have to then either wait for the energy to fill up to that max energy or get an energy refill elixir.
