- Hey everyone! This video will explain the basics of Fishing in Wizard101 and why it is so important.

I had no the sunken palace did that. That is increadible. Also for some odd reason I thought they just used the castle magic spell that makes things invisible.

Where do you purchase the “common” lures as I’ve just started fishing and need some tips and what is that wand I see ferric wearing does it provide energy boosts or something?
No, the only thing that gives energy boost at lower levels without spending any crowns are the 3 pieces of gear I described.
Hey I tried to find the guy in unicorn way and I couldn’t find him nor did he sell the gear in the arena area is this outdated or am I missing anything?
If you look in the wiki, it says that the item has been retired so you can't get it anymore

Fishing itself is important. Keeping fish is only important if you want to store fish for gold or mega snacks or if you want to decorate.

Ferric I have never done PvP. are you sure its fine to fortieth or join 2v2 or 3v3?
I would only forfeit if you do 1v1. Don't mess up your team in 2v2/3v3/4v4

The member benefit is not permanent. It will say on the game and on their twitter when the zero-energy fishing benefit comes out.

I have a membership and it doesnt give you unlimited fishing you still have to wait for your fishing energy to refill so becoming a member to fish infinitely isnt correct
Member benefits are not permanent, and while a member benefit is active, it clearly shows above that a member benefit that affects that thing is active.
I probably should have clarified in the video, my apologies.
Why keep fish?
If I'm using the proper lure for a fish do I still benefit from fishing luck on gear?
The fishing gear does help because it makes it so the fish almost never get away. I would queue for a tournament, skip the matches and continue fishing and eventually you'll get the gear without spending any time doing pvp

Fishing is easy. Also it is the best way to make TONS of gold!

Is getting chests rng based or does it depend on luck too?
It is a little bit of luck and a little bit of pre-set values, but the contents of the chest is 100% RNG/luck based.
