I wish but I dont have money cause I’m 16 and my mom won’t let me get a job😂 it’s ok tho because I try to pick up jobs with family for payment, that’s why i at least have one hot toy!
i bought 2 ironman hot toys i gotta tell you it's such a waste of money. i never bought another hot toys again.

The way collecting should be
Good tips for new as well as older collectors! 👍🏽 As someone who will not buy a Hot Toys figure without a shipper box, here is my personal reason. These shippers boxes to me protect the art box as well as the figure inside, they also give me a quick reference as to which figure is inside if in storage. I collect a lot of these figures and not all go on display. Plus if I ever need to change my mind on my collection direction, then I can sell it to someone, with the original packaging. I’ve found that makes a huge difference on places like eBay. It shows the buyer that I took such good care of my figures that I even saved the original shipper box in great condition. Someone who shows that type of care to, as you put it, “a cardboard box” will show even more care to the actual figure I am selling. I can’t tell you how much positive feedback I’ve received when supplying that original shipper box. Especially when life happens and you need to sell off these expensive figures, having that shipper box can be the difference between selling fast and at least good $50 more in your pocket. That’s my experience from selling almost 100 of these Hot Toys figures over the last 6 years. Each collector is entitled to decide, but if you are newer, that’s my personal advice just in case you change your mind in the future, it helps protect your investment in these high end collectibles. 👍🏽 Awesome job educating folks Ryan, love your channel, keep these types of videos coming! 🙌🏽

I just ordered a TLJ Crait Luke from popcultcha in AUS. It’s a bummer that I got into the hobby so late, and missed out on so many great releases... Especially since I’m a sequel trilogy fan and that’s pretty much done. Your advice is great though, very helpful!

I have life size Grogu and Beskar Mando now and got Cody from secondary market coming and already pre ordered Rex and 501st Clone. Now im thinking about ordering Second 501st and Coruscant Guard. So my wallet will cry soon so that why i think its not good time lol

100% agree with everything you said. One thing I'll add on the ebay point is ALWAYS look at the seller's feedback rating. If they have 100% feedback with tons of reviews and no complaints then buy with complete confidence imo. Sometimes you stumble upon some deals you just can't pass up on, like for instance, I stumbled across an Infinity War War Machine Mark 4 100% brand new unopened and I paid $370 for it, shipping and taxes included!
These beginner guides are fantastic. Thank you for taking the time to make them. I have a few Hot Toys figures (Iron Man Mk 50/Mk 6 diecast and the last Black Panther, with IW Star Lord on the way). I'm struggling a little bit to figure out what I want to go after next. I'm thinking the Endgame Iron Patriot. You're absolutely right that collecting can be overwhelming, so slowing down is probably a good idea. Your tips are greatly appreciated and the community you have here is wonderful.

As a beginner collector, this information and the info from part one are invaluable. I just got my first 6th scale, Beskar Mando & Child deluxe. Your tips helped me decide on focusing on The Mandalorian and related figures instead of jumping all over the place... That said, I'm bummed I didn't get in on the Remnant trooper. Thanks for the tips and information, keep up the great work.
funny it’s midnight when they announce them in the US. For us in Germany it’s early in the morning (around 7am), so I always wake up and instantly check my phone 😁

Hey Jedha I don’t know if you’ve done this recently since I’ve only been subbed a few weeks... but you should do a video of a list of sixth scales you’d like to see sideshow or hot toys produce in the future.
I have my own list (Star Wars exclusive since that’s mostly all I collect), and was just curious if you have one as well.

Hardest part is being late to the game, like I am. All my favorite characters are already released, but extremely expensive. Jedha Patrol troopers, Mudtrooper Han, various Sideshow clones, etc.....wish I had jumped into 1:6 sooner.

Die-Cast Iron Man
I've only purchased 2 used figures: IW Iron Spider and the HC Deluxe Spiderman. The FFH Movie promo was waitlisted by the time I had interest and I wanted the extra bits the deluxe came with. I ended up getting the HC at a solid price. The IW on, however, I think I paid a little higher than it was worth. I noticed there was some suit damage from the clamp from the previous owner but it was a figure I wanted to own so I'm glad I have it.
I like the shipper box because it protects my art box in storage
This has turned into my favorite 1/6th channel.

The only reason I want a figure double boxed is because the shipper box says what's inside and may give someone incentive to "lose" my package in transit
thankfully I've only had that happen once, and it was by USPS and their terrible operations.

So this is just a curios question, but is CZcams your mean source of income, or do u have another job. And do u have tips on how to not go completely crazy and buy all the hot toys😅 I’m trying not to go broke lol.
Here's why I keep shipping boxes number one if you're going to move if You Haul something else and you don't have no shipper boxes to put your expensive Hot Toys into and your friends are helping you move do stuff cuz I get tore up and you would know. Also cuz I don't have a lot of room I put was not on display can you ship a box and stow it away weather in my closet or on a Shelf it keeps the art box from getting messed up you know the corners shelf wear dust but if you have a lot of room where you can display 200 or more pieces then you are in a different respect so you got a big house and not apartment you can display 200 + 300 pieces and I collect more than one thing not just action figures everything from Hot Wheels RC cars old GI Joes that summer 40 years old so imma old school collector new school collector I wish I could have was set up weather display multiple Star Wars all over the place I don't have that luxury or the money so I protect my action figures at all cost

Shipper box hides the hot toys logo for anti theft measures. Maybe do a little research on why people want them instead of dismissing them.
