You know, it's kind of a shame we never see Kiryu with his taxi suit jacket on in any future installments, I really liked that look he had.
Me too, admittedly Yakuza has made me embrace the "fancy/dressy" fashion sense and Kiryu's taxi outfit is one of the mamy I want to replicate. Looks perfect for the colder months
Maybe in 8, they’ll add an outfit that pays homage to that.

Everyone's talking about how unrealistic it is the "No kill rule" Kiryu has, but what I find most unrealistic is how someone would willing pick a fight with Kiryu, I mean, he's a monster in size and muscle mass (not counting his reputation).
It's like picking a fight with Saejima

There is a secret heat action in the Kamurocho hill's battle where you can throw enemies out the window but its similar to the one you throw to the water but just want to point out.

Some of the easier ones just needs some brutality. Grab the asshole's head, bang it into a wall/ledge/railing/table/whatever, then step onto their face.

Something I've noticed is the first time you do this heat action he wipes their face back and forth longer than he ever does again in this heat action. Try it in one of the challenge modes and I think it'll count it as the first time you've done it.
If you press buttons during some of the heat actions they do it longer ive noticed. @@solaire2271

The Dragon King Essence seems good enough to be his Rage Art.
It's interesting how some of these were reused for Yakuza Kiwami 2.
Heck, some of these moves probably came from the PS2 era.

Sad that those mechanics were only present in 5. The thugs would even run away from battles.

They do it fairly often, but their phone call only lasts like 3 seconds, making it easy to miss, especially since you probably won't notice a few more weak enemies show up when you're already beating up multiple enemies at once.
He may have never killed anybody, but he’s sure never gotten close to doing so. People weren’t kidding when they say Kiryu is so much more violent in Y5.

I like how Kiryu shows a lot more of JuJutsu in his moveset in this game. Seems Komaki is training him well.

I like how is like Batman where canonically Kiriyu has never killed someone, but practically leave them with severe injures or even probably disable/vegetal state
This game is the only in the series that knows how to make you punch ppl you hate to a blub but without people you actually hate

A notable difference between Yakuza 6 and 5: Before Yakuza 6, most of Kiryu’s Heat actions were just slamming people into public property or curb-stomping them like a GTA character.
These are a lot of fun to watch ... will they return for Yakuza Kiwami 2 and Judge Eyes

Nothing. Maybe the remaster version is shorter than the original one.
@@DAIzobuVids I figured it out yesterday. I think it does it longer on bosses/minibosses automatically but on normal enemies it's shorter
The longer version only plays the first time Kiryu uses that Heat Action.

Why did the devs really like smashing an enemy’s head through something and spinning it for a rather long time?
This is like the 3rd game, only this one has them kick insstead of slapping it.

@@cleversmart0303 i mean in Y3 and 4 u can do these heat moves even if u aren't in flashing health, but in y5 it's locked behind flashing health conditions
@@cleversmart0303 I guess he's talking about "Ultimate Essence" and "Raging Bull" specifically. In previous games all u had to do to perform the heat moves was to be in red heat. In 5 you first need to get yourself low on health and fill your Climax heat gauge.
