Is it normal to hear a pop sound after the elbow valgus and/or varus stress test? Athlete has been prescribed to shut down for 2 months with a sprained UCL and have recently started to do PT, no other previous tests have experienced with such pop sound.

To answer the question in general terms...There are many reasons that any joint can have a mechanical click or pop. In the absence of injury or pain, they generally do not indicate significant pain. If the mechanical symptom is associated with injury or pain, it is more concerning and would warrant close monitoring or further work-up.
