I like this pattern, simple and special also challenging. There are my experience for making it, find out starting point ( it is not start at middle ), using stitch marker especially on the increase section, it is help a lot. Once the pattern established it goes much easier. Happy knitting !
@@Crochethingwhen I saw your first video tutorial of this, I instantly fell in love with it❤. I decided to make one for myself. I want to share my journey with you since you are the author of the amazing Shawl 🙂. It happened last year. From the looks, it was easy but when I tried a few attempts it failed me miserably. I got to crochet up to row 3 but faltered on row 4 because it confused me. I tried multiple times, however, it got me frustrated so I stopped. From time to time it passes my wall and still want to pursue it someday. And my second attempt at this video tutorial 2 started the first week of June 2023. I was determined to go with it, and Yayks!!👏 I was able to make it up to row 27 today (although I was baffled about row 7 going to rows 8 and 9😅). As of this moment, I am pondering if I want to add 10 more rows from your original since I want it longer. Sorry, it was a long story. In the end, I am delighted NOW to make one for myself. Thank you so much. 😊
After being confused and even with the markers, I ended up just making a long string of 60 triangles and then turning it around and doing 59, turning it around and 58 etc. etc. etc. I love the triangle pattern and thank you!
I was also confused even with the stitch markers at first but like Crocheting said I also lost my stitch markers along the way. Eventually, I surpassed it reaching row 27.
Thank you for this video. It's a beautiful pattern. I have started making it. This video is definitely better than the earlier one. Just one thing though - if you can add a drawing of the complete scarf explaining the starting point and the ending point, it will help us a lot.
I love this scarf but I just can't get the hang of it. I can make the individual triangles but when I flip my work I get all confused, I don't know what triangles are in what row. 8-(
I’ve been thinking what you can do to make it easier. Maybe you can try with placing a stitch marker in every stitch. One color per row. So if your first row is pink, you change per triangle in your new color like blue. So you can see which triangle is already worked in. I hope you understand what I mean 😘
No, please don't give up yet. I had the same thought as yours. Admittedly, it was difficult a few times but as you watch tutorial 2022 repeatedly and try more times it will be an easy peasy for you. And it will be worth it 😊
I’m getting stuck at row 8. I manage to get 4 triangles on rows 6 & 7, but despite redoing row 8 following the instructions for row 6 I cannot get 5 triangles. I have undone it several times but can seem to see why I am not increasing a triangle. Can you help please
Hi Kathryn, did you use stitchmarkers? Maybe it can help when you watch the transition from row 1 to row 2 and the end of row 2, to find out what goes wrong. The additional triangle is made when you finished the row with the slipstitch in the last triangle from the previous row: you chain 6 and then work the increase (additional) triangle of that row in those 6 chains. You can do it!
@@Crochething thank you for your reply. I’ve got the extra triangle, but where does it attach to? Makes me so annoyed with myself because I have managed this up to the end of the video bit, and then left to logic, I’m hopeless ggg
@@Crochething oh, hang on, I think I’ve realised not every edge triangle is secured to the previous row…..going up the edge, there is the 11 chains making a loop, followed by a ‘gap’ row….it doesn’t help that I am left handed so am visualising this in mirror image…..something we lefthanders do all the time, but this one got me.
This is a lovely video, and I am going to have a go at it…..but please, background music makes it very difficult for people who are deaf to separate speech and music.
Love the airy ness of this shawl. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you for taking the time to respond to my confusion 🤔. Your explanation helped a great deal.
I really enjoy this pattern.
Very stylish, you're creative in crocheting and can't wait to see more.
Thank you!

Thank you 🙏🏽
Amazing method, I have completed my scarf just now and it turns into a very beautiful one. Thank u so much for this easy tutorial.
Beautiful 😍 but in my case I gave up, too challenging ☺️
So sorry to hear. Did you slow down the video?

@@kathrynhobbs8874 the ‚increase‘ triangle you don‘t attach (it floats), just continue with the 11 chains to the First triangle of the next row
