fun fact: for these two tracks, if you subtract the 1-lap difference, you would need a 1:50.xx on Hyper Spaceway, and 1:59.xx on Thunder Struck. In other words, even the developer time can pull this off on Hyper Spaceway.
Man, I just spent the last 2 days working on a boost schedule for Hyper Spaceway. The reserves are the most annoying of any track in this game. Finally got a plan down, just to mess up U-turn in the lap 3 figure 8. R.I.P.
Meh, I'll get it tonight. Maybe I'll switch on Oxide for the lulz.

You are extremely good at the CTR nitro fueled game. You are able to let the oxide ghost lap you and still beat him while I struggle to beat the oxide ghosts without letting the ghost get a 1 lap lead.

I wonder how many other tracks you can do this on...I'm guessing a decent chunk of Blue Fire-enabled tracks (first guesses are Polar Pass and Cortex Castle)
we paged through all of the tracks on stream while I was doing this and there's a few more that are doable but extremely hard. Hot Air Skyway is doable if you can get like a 2:04.xx without a boost start. Turbo Track is doable as well but need something like a 1:28 or 1:27. I think those are the only ones we found that are possible when adding oxide's lap 1 to a WR time, but may be missing 1 or 2.

I recently did a little experiment regarding Oxide times. Can you beat Oxide on all tracks with no shortcuts? I was able to do so on all but one: Gingerbread Joyride. Do you think it is possible?
i honestly have no idea since 1. I don't even remember what Oxide's time is on joyride and 2. I've never voluntarily gone the long way around so i don't know how much time it loses but I'd go ahead say its maybe possible but very hard.
and i still hear that oxide times are hard lol

NELzane after getting the platinum, there’s nothing else to do. Pvp is loaded with weapon spamming people and it isn’t fun. I beat it 20 years ago, and I did so again on PS4. There’s nothing else to do with it. You guys have opinions and I think they’re valid but why would I keep a game I won’t play at all cause I 100% it.
The only game I 100% and still play competitively is the last of us cause they have a pretty balanced MP. It’s not like (CTR) I’m first place and get bombarded with weapon spams and I can’t even catch up no matter how perfect my drifts and turns are.
