  • This video describes the process of cellular vs. humoral immunity at the high school level. I use this PowerPoint in my honors biology classes at Beverly Hills High School.

    I was trying to collect background info for an article I'm trying to read. It was very easy to understand without being overwhelming. Most importantly, I can understand my reading on a deeper level. Thank you!

    I am very appreciative of you for taking the time to make this video and allow others outside of your students to learn from it! Thank you! 💛

    This is the BEST explanation of this I have heard. Ever. Even the animations were leagues ahead of your peers on CZcams. Keep using the T and B shapes too.

    By far the easiest explanation I've watched. Somehow the way you've broken these two types of immunity completely click in my brain. Thank you.

    Thank you so much! I just got off my shift, and I did NOT feel like reading my book. Thank you for making an easy-to-understand video!

    Just one addition, at 4:49, the narrator misspeaks and says that a plasma T-cell is activated. There is no such thing...there is a plasma B-cell though.

    Im pretty sure that before the B limfocites become activated, a phagocyte that has the pathogens antigenes showing on the membrane has to bind to a T-helper( T4) cell, then the T4 cell binds this newly formed complex to an actual inactive B-limfocite, thus stimulating it and it becoming active, starting to create antibodies. Correct me if im wrong.

    Excellent explanation! It took me ages to understand there're two mechanisms of immunity, how do they work and how different cells intervene. Thanks.

      @danielrumpff5905 Před 5 lety +3

      Roi Lee What are you even doing, you are trying to start an argument, while I only showed my appreciation for the video regarding the humoral and cullular immunity of a human being. The “I can” was obviously a joke. You are desperately trying to look smart, but you taking the joke seriously, together with you picking on people, tells me otherwise. There is no point in arguing any further, as I know you are just going to be ignorant or act aggressively, without using any sensible arguments.

    • @danielrumpff5905
      @danielrumpff5905 Před 5 lety +2

      @Roi Lee, And by the way, the “everything” was referring to everything regarding the subject that is being discussed in the video, not everything in general.

    • @danielrumpff5905
      @danielrumpff5905 Před 5 lety +4

      @Roi Lee Why on earth would I do that? It was a small comment of gratitude on a video used for educational purposes, not on a huge scientific discovery. My “purpose and intentions” were derivable from the context.

    Thanks for the explanation, I am vaccine sceptical, and must admit I need to watch this again to learn more, I understand how this traditional method of infection can teach you body to have true immunity, (and True Herd Immunity for the population) though I am sceptical about how a Vaccine can give true immunity. When the pathogen is injected directly into your body, (along with the Adjuvent, this causes your humoral immune system to over-react, and although it may produce antibodies, this is only a temporary thing), and hence why you are told to re-vaccinate over and over again, also this kind of shock to the immune system can permanently damage it, and cause decreased overall immunity or Autoimmune diseases, this is where you immune system can attack things that it should not, such as attacking organs etc (I know someone who has to take Immunosuppressents to prevent their stomach getting destroyed), and some people need to take immune suppressants for the rest of their life to suppress the immune system for this reason, obviously this reduces your overall immunity also. Also not to mention the harm of the build up of toxins, such as aluminium in the brain (and NO not this is not the same as consuming aluminium in Tuna or sea food, which goes through your digestive system and is mostly expelled, NOT directly injected into your blood!) Are we not destroying TRUE Herd immunity with over use of Vaccines!
