Forts is a physics-based RTS where foes design and build custom bases, arm them to the teeth and blast their opponent's creations to rubble.
Build an armoured fort in real-time and arm it to the teeth. Collect resources, develop your tech-tree, unlock advanced weapons to target your opponent's weak points, and feel the satisfaction as their fort comes crashing down.

You could build a box of adamantium( its called adamantium, right? ) held by adamantium chains, floating in the air! You would be invincible! Dew it

Run a box of adamantium around your smaller box, and fix it with corner bracing. No splash will ever get through. @@d22268

That was a great second round. Comeback scenarios are always my favorite in forts.
Tbh opponents didn't bother with energy shields even after 10 laser snipes.
They thought they were gunna beat incursus....
If you put a shield at an angle at the front of the prow of the ship, and hit it with a laser, you can have it go almost 90 degrees vertically skyward for a very impressive anti-projectile defense. Gotta have someone on that pretty much full time though.
Bonus is that you can have more than one laser shooting at that one shield if you can angle it right.
Also if you're using laser for anti-missile, upgraded machine gunners might be faster to get operational and more expendable.

With how wacky the placements can be in anti-grav, you could probably just angle the laser steeply to save trouble.

If you use an Anti-Grav core on a reverse gravity map, will it push stuff down or make it fly away faster?

Sorry for the late reply, it does as a matter of fact still work in reversing the gravity. On reverse gravity, the Anti-Grav core will drag your fort to the pits of hell.
Those sniper shots were SOO in sync... For a second there, I thought you were firing two sniper at the same target...

I love the clean slices and watching their whole base just float off into the void
It's very zen. They could program it so the air density is lower as you go higher on the map, so you are less buoyant and eventually stop rising. Balloon forts!

Oh, You should have a floating forts battle. Use the Adamantium chains to lock your base to the ground. Then build your arsenal in your floating base. Then see which teams win.
That game with Jimmy was very entertaining. It's nice to see good opponents that pose a challenge and a good teamate that actually helps.
I don't get what's everybody freaking out about. This is just the Australian version of Forts

incursus if you ever want to do a missile rush make sure put a min3 on the very end then put the silo before it so that the enemy wont get ready for missiles oh and make sure to cover the silo
I cant think of a good name guy you know it's called rush cause you want it as fast as possible... you need enough ressources for tech, swarms and upgrade center so by the time your mine cover would be up, an enemy could just laser you to death rendering that strat kinda useless...

@@addaccount9246 hope i did not sound offensive or anything. but since the game is about getting your weapons out asap to supress enemy economy you need to finish your t1-weapons at least a few shooting-cycles before the enemies t2 (lasers, cannons), otherweise you'll get outscaled and lose in the end
@@addaccount9246 agreeing with liquid slashes here (only slightly late), there's the other fact that you have swarms up the middle of the base, meaning you have to invest more heavily in building structure to house stuff like storage.
Man that come back was awesome, totally turned the tide once you guys started getting some missile hits.

i think the problem is that the anti-air weapons normally aim in normal gravity, which makes them go down but the missles also come closer, which in turn makes them hit perfectly. but now that it's no gravity, it doesn't only remove the benefit but turns it around

I can understand not wanting to go missile rush for battleships, but you really need to start building anti air before the enemy fields 10 missile silos and it is simply too late if they remember to fire them.
On normal gravity if you background the tiny bracing in front of the cannon the top of the arc aims it right at the enemy's second core and the batteries behind the third. It's triple doored too.

So with reversed gravity the more you build up the more you fly off?

That was the last video, aye. But anti-grav has reduced stress on bracings, anyways; it's pull strain, rather than compression strain. @@tinyprince
