Today We're playing around with Birdies Mod! It has a laser than does infinite damage. And yes, it does 1 shot adamantium.

Yeah...repair station upkeep doesn’t seem like it’d be an issue on Battleships so long as +999 is just the display maximum and not the actual energy gain maximum, and even then it would depend on how it’s calculated (if costs are calculated before gain then it’ll be fine even if the gain calculation ignores any remainder over 999 for the final gain). The real issue would be the fact that they make a real big kaboom. A nasty, nasty kaboom that can turn a situation that would’ve only killed one weapon into a multi-weapon or even a core kill.
