REALLY enjoy your reactions. I've done a lot and I give pretty good life advice. Accept it if you like.
#1. Never live down to the people around you, only up. If your co-workers are slackers, don't let that effect you. Be better than them. You seem to be aspiring to greater things. They don't, so following their example is counterproductive to who you are.
#2 (And much, MUCH more important). We ALL break the rules, but NEVER video yourself doing it. It can't do you much good, but it sure can come back and bite you in the ass later.
I speak from experience on both these topics.

I actually appreciate the advice and you are right, for me I feel like trying to do reactions at work just shows my dedication as I someday plan to do CZcams fulltime and work part time, you have a point on the videoing my self break rules part but for me… if my job were to see this video hopefully they will be behind me. Working a job is a stepping stone for me to accomplish what I’m actually working toward and that’s creating longevity with this channel and pushing a real message. I’m advocating for mental health and I’m going to use this money from work to build my voice and a product around that. I understand what you’re saying tho and I appreciate you for commenting. I did these at work mainly cause it’s going to be a lot easier for me to put these next 3 videos out as I had been a bit busy to sit down during the day and do them. Had to get it in at work it is what it is gotta get that content to ya lol

@@TheDonDann Those are all great goals and I support them and you 100%. (Oh, and I've heard Ren say in more than one interview that he was terrible in school, and got expelled at least once, and had to attend a different elementary school. Most of what he learned he learned on his own, with a natural curiosity much like yours.)

It's sad how Americans completely lose focus when the gun appears... It's a shame because you're missing some of the best lines in the whole piece and the performance is Oscar worthy. In fact this video has already won several awards! Of course it's a decommissioned gun and that was hard enough to get hold of in the UK and required a licence. The cartridge was empty, swapped whilst Ren was speaking to camera. More importantly, he's playing a part, he's MEANT to be feeling reckless, not caring about gun safety. That's the whole point! He's about to blow his brains out! Literally, as well as metaphorically.

Same, my friend, math and numbers were never my thing. I've always been a word person, a vocabulary vixen, and I absolutely love that you came across a word you didn't know and looked it up! You didn't pretend to understand it or apologize for not knowing it. It doesn't sound like much, but it makes my inner english teacher v v happy!
With your drive to learn and explore, I feel you'd be more than able to figure out the piano. Please don't give up on that dream. "You have to be a foolish beginner in order to become a graceful master". Idk where that quote is from but I love it ❣️🦇❣️🦇❣️🦇❣️

That’s crazy English was actually one my my best subjects also, I excelled pretty well in environmental systems too tho. I appreciate you for commenting on that section of the video. I hate peoples who act like they know stuff and don’t lol. How can you grow knowing everything? But hell yea, I appreciate you! I am honestly turning into a Renegade. I listened to Ren in my car today on my way to work and back home again. I turned the volume way up and let the music transport me.
Many of his songs really affect me in an unexpected way that makes me feel real emotion.
This was one of the songs that came on during my drive home. I dig it. For real. Thanks for bringing me along on this journey with you. 👍🏻

The ending is genius. It's a recreation of the chorus from the 1st 2 parts but without singinging it. For instance, instead of 'Rain rain rain rain' we have actual rain etc. What's more, you realise that the ending is also a summary of Jimmy's life, which means that Jummy's entire life (and MG3) is an expanded and detailed version of that chorus from MG1 and MG2! The last line here, is the same line that leads into that chorus in the first two parts! Genius! :)

PO Po is police. In some places police on bikes have jackets with PO on the back for Police Officer, but they ride in pairs so when they pass it looks like it says PO PO. Also, I love how all the USA reactions freak out over the gun safety.... It's actually kind of reassuring.

..."Popo in his Pocket"....referring to he has the cops paid off to turn a blind eye to his illicit business. Story behind the pistol, it's a stage prop and yes those are dummy rounds. Firearms are illegal in the UK and Ren had to file for a special exception just to even get the Prop Pistol and Dummy Ammo for this video, they literally arrived the day of the video shoot. Great reaction, as I had said before, it takes time to digest Ren's messaging and catch on to his lyricism, you on that train now!

The gun was a real non-working colt 45 replica. I think it was 8mm. The bullets were real 45cal bullets but the 45cal clip does not fit in the 8mm gun. They swapped clips during filming. Because the gun was real, (non-working) they had to get license for it and they almost didn't get it in time for video shoot.

The difference with this, compared to the Kendrick thing you mentioned, is that this was recorded live, with just a single cut! They were going for a 1 take but the 'rain machine' was playing up, so they had to make a cut just before it, during the wheelchair sequence. Unlike Kendrick, Ren lays down his own music/beats/audio and he composed and arranged the music for piano and strings here, as well as playing that amazing opening section... with a hood over his head! On the album he plays the whole piece. It wouldn't surprise me if he played the cello parts too, as he plays the cello too, but I don't think he did in this case. Oh, and he co-directed the video, did all the audio/recording setup AND gave an Oscar worthy performance, live! No comparison really! :)

I’m seeing that now. They all “awww it’s a fake gun” yeah cool but are the people watching him not practice gun safety going to be safe with the gun? Cause judging by these Ren heads some of them will do exactly what ever Ren does… even on a fake gun the safety protocol should be practiced. Specifically for the viewers.
