    Not all black Africans have large lips and wide noses. I’m half Nigerian half Asian/black and people think my dad is north eastern African yet he is fully Nigerian. Some people think me and my sisters are northern African because of our facial features and skin tone.

    Don't go to Egypt. They're not friendly to visitors. I saw a food CZcamsr go there and had a really hard time because they didn't want him to film anything even though he had a permit.

      I disagree with her, reason we see mosques next to churches is because Muslims took over the churches with swords.
      I guess you can question the validity of each church case by case.

    I went to school in 🇪🇬 for about 5 years from 2009 to 2014. I vowed never to return again unfortunately. There is definite racism of blacks and even of there own dark skin populace nubians.

    That Egyptologist is silly. Not all Sub-saharan Africans have broad features I have met many Sub-Saharan Africans that are fully African and yet have slender noses and semi-thin lips and narrow faces.
    I have known people go to Egypt and have been very disappointed.

    I have travelled to Egypt, and by interaction with them I was surprised by how ignorant they were with Bible history and some major roles they played like they were not taught that part of their history.

      Yeah but Egyptians are mixed peoples, not fully Arab. But a lot of Egypt is illiterate and live simple country lifestyles so they wouldn’t know, except for those in the big cities, especially those with a healthy mix of Christian and Muslim populations like Cairo or Alexandria

    This was awesome, I'm a Coptic Orthodox Christian from Egypt living in the UK and lived here my entire life when I went to Egypt for the first time not that long ago, I heard rumours and stories but honestly from as far as the North from the South of the country I found nothing but respect and true feelings and love for one another from all people. Christian or Muslim we are brothers and sisters a united people and a united nation. That's what makes Egypt strong and special the true feelings for one another, you can meet someone the first day and the second day he'll become your brother irrespective of their religion or belief.

    Those are clearly not the "real" Egyptians. If I recall correctly - Egyptian means "burnt face" or something like that. The ancient Egyptians are in modern-day Sudan. If they celebrate Christmas with their Christian friend and he celebrates Ramadan with them they're all Catholics lol. Confusion abounds throughout.

    Arabic and Persian people are dark skinned but not black.

    1 is Africa, the other is Asia

Because in the Quran it doesn’t specifically mention “Red Sea” but it’s present in the hadiths I believe and other sources, so it’s not really known to the average not so religious muslim where the body of water was that was split and pharaoh drowned in

    I wish we didn’t have to have these discussions. I look like the Egyptian lady there in hair texture and skin color, but I am Black. It’s ridiculous to judge anyone by race or skin color.

      Not judge but identify. But people should be identified by their country that they have built, not race. That’s why I don’t like saying black or I even don’t like it when Europeans say white. Say French, American, Nigerian, Egyptian and be proud of what your ancestors created for you. That’s how I view it, this white/black thing is weird and it’s a pretty new concept to identify by the color of your skin, it wasn’t done in the past that much before America started viewing blacks as subhuman and importing them into America. Saying white is superior only came after IQ tests, hitler, eugenics etc. that’s why most empires had both black and white slaves but mostly black because it was easier to take over African cities, not due to color

    Ok, I don't know why this time specifically?🧐 I confess that don't go to public areas things aren't stable people will treat you not in the good way (or scarcely harasses) but if you went to a tourism place like in Hurghada, Alexandria at the "tourism places" that will be great but don't enter in the Egyptian public, things aren't well there. I am Egyptian and I am giving advice, if you go to the right places (where I mentioned torisim places, you will have the best vacancy time ;) I assure you that cuz really the weather is very good especially now and 3 months later, the winter unlike Europe or North America,
    Edit: I want to add a little more which is Gas prices 📈📈 but here in Egypt all these costs are lower and we are now the Egyptian pound lowered it's value so what is better than now to be warm with us....Of course I address this advice to Europeans not Americans because we know America is the head of this war beneficial country, all lose except US and I am fine with that, that's politics and they playin it that way , and I can't do anything 👍🏽

      Well America is a country, and if you are born in that country, you are technically native to that land.
      For example, my blood is mixed European. I'm not danish/english/and Scottish and French. I'm Canadian, I was born in Canada. Same goes for those people, they aren't ANCIENT Egyptians, but they are native Egyptians, in that they were born in Egypt. Nobody chooses where they are born. They might not have Egyptian heritage, but Egypt is a country and if you are born there, then you are Egyptian.

    Ancient Egyptians were a Semitic people related to Hebrews and Arabs. The south of Egypt was kind of the buffer zone between the African and middle eastern world so their was a considerable Nubian minority. Egyptians were definitely a Semitic people. Lots of linguistic and artistic evidence.

      That is very true. The majority were people of colour that looked like west Africans, Sudan and Eastern African. There were coexisting mixture of these people because the Arabs who are predominately now the descents of Egypt have done barbaric things to the ancient Egyptians. The Egyptologist is a reflection of his answers denying the historical facts and dna of the wall paintings and sculptures of west African looking Egyptians.

    In the west, I notice that there’s preference to refer to someone from Africa as African. Africans prefer to be identified by their nationality e.g Egyptian, Ethiopian, Kenyan, Nigerian etc because Africa is a continent and too general for identity.

      Humanity is weird like that. That same division of tribes would happen if everyone was born in the same country.. they would identify by the state, and if we all were born in the same state, we would identify by the city. Humans love to divide themselves for no reason, obviously, certain division is good. E.g. division from evilness and wickedness, and things that are not of God

    Egyptians looked like the Beja and afara people really East Africans in general in all its varieties of “black” phenotypes that’s how Egyptians looked. These people are ishmealites (arabs) so technically they have some Egyptian blood from Hagar. Also Ishmeal had an Egyptian wife. So technically they have Egyptian lineage.

    Modern Day Egyptians are a mix of Macedonian , Persian, ottoman Turk and indigenous stock. Most of the original Egyptians were pushed out and became the Nilotic tribes

    Middle class young people are pleasant but sadly have a very sheltered upbringing . from my observations this is the same all over the world. there is a community in cairo called the Zabaleen or garbage collecters who are coptic christians and because they are christians in a mainly muslim society have been afforded this task. They live in poverty but are rich in christ. I wonder have any one of these nice young people visited the area of the Zabaleen.

    Ha! As soon as I saw the title of the video, I would comment with a YES! Without having to even watch it! White Egyptians are extremely racists towards black skinned people and they are separatist. They deny Egypt is in Africa. They treat the Nubians like non class citizens. The yt Egyptians have fraudulently made themselves the face of Egypt. I’m glad Pastor David asked the question, although I knew what their answer would be. I’m order to look civilised outside their country, they pretend racism doesn’t exist in their country. Absolute rubbish! I have an Egyptian friend who can testify all day long that Egyptians are racist towards black skinned people, as are a lot of northern African/ Arab people.

    The licensing to build a Church in Egypt would go through regulations and then the government would build a mosque before the license would pass so the Church wouldn't get built because there was a law that you can't build a Church of a certain distance of a mosque
