- the gang is BACK with a 2nd instalment to this huge EP series! this time we cover 2023- featuring artists such as Crankdat, Koven, Godlands and WHIPPED CREAM among others! no silk again this time i’m afraid, but we have bulked out the list with the April Fool’s Release Tamagato EP as well as the My Singing Monsters remixes that dropped featuring three remixes by Monstercat artists!

this is all our opinion, and i don’t tolerate blatant disrespect towards artists in my comments. by all means you’re allowed to have a least favourite but be respectful about it! don’t be bashing us about the ranking either, it’s not gospel truth and you should enjoy what you want without being judged :D

#12 - Both songs have the exact same song structure and are pretty linear what a A/B
#11 - WHIPPED CREAM always comes with rather unique ideas with every EP or song, I'll give her that.
#10 - The pinnacle of mid
#9 - It's what I've come to expect considering like the Volpetron series of EPs starting with his World Domination EP on Disciple. Lotta bangers, all really enjoyable, apart from a melodic track near the end of the EP (starting from Ray Volpe's Legend of the Volpetron EP, and now this) that I may or may not love
#8 - Like the 8-bit from Tamagato here ngl. Not really into it too much but it's a cool idea
#7 - Both Higher Ground EPs are really enjoyable for the most part.
#6 - I swear, Godlands is super slept on by a lot of people
#5 - I didn't really find this EP all too appealing tbh
#4 - Every Little Thing was probably the only standout in the EP, but still a good EP nonetheless
#3 - I legit forgot it existed until you made this video
#2 - Honestly a really great EP from start to finish, showing Crankdaddy's skill in Bass House/Complextro very well
#1 - They're just cracked
2023 was definitely a year, hopefully the next ones will be better

we (me and the mates in the video) had this conversation as a group collective and to be honest, does it matter?
the artists are all known for having released in the label, and the credits on streaming platforms go to monstercat too
Won't count it unless Monstercat was involved
@@coltonv200 the label credits on platforms explicitly say that the artists appear courtesy of monstercat and besides- there’s nothing that anyone can do as the video has been out already

It technically is Monstercat, as the rights “appear courtesy of Monstercat”. That’s the exact wording of the rights that appear on the Apple Music album, so it’s a weird case of something being Monstercat when it’s not an officially promoted thing and all that. Think of it like the Spotify singles WHIPPED CREAM and GG Magree have.
Weird that there isn't remakes of the songs in the Monstercat layout
