Pep Guardiola hailed the mentality of Manchester City's players under the pressure of the Premier League title race after Saturday’s 4-0 win at Fulham moved his side two points above Arsenal at the top of the standings with two games to play.
Josko Gvardiol opened the scoring in the 13th minute at Craven Cottage, and after Phil Foden made it 2-0 in the 59th minute, the Croatian defender scored his second goal of the match - and fifth in seven games - from a Bernardo Silva cross in the 71st minute.
Julian Alvarez then added a fourth from the penalty spot in the sixth minute of stoppage time after he was fouled by Issa Diop, who received a second yellow card for the challenge.
City know that wins in their final two league matches of the season - away at Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday and at home to West Ham United next Sunday - will secure an unprecedented fourth consecutive top flight title and their sixth in seven seasons.
