This was a good exploratory video. A preliminary physical inspection of the motherboard is always an essential step.
The screen is not cracked -- only the plastic protection layer on the screen. Not a big problem. This is so typical of these "no power on" laptops. They usually need something silly, like a coin cell battery, a BIOS reset, or perhaps a power jack or power button. Depending on the laptop specs, this one could have some value. If it can't run Windows, it can still run ChromeOS Flex or Linux Mint.

I just noticed that PD3 diode attached to VIN. That could also have been the cause of a no power problem, but not in this case!

Are you sure the bent pints were done by you? Do you know what holding power button down for 30seconds does? drain all caps, or trigger EC or something else?

Hi Anthony, I presume that the pins were bent when the previous owner was looking at it. Looks like it was either dropped or something was left sitting on it. Holding down the power button drains all the residual voltage from the board.

I am guessing this Lenovo Yoga has a 4th Gen i5 processor.

    what was the problem?

When I bought the laptop it was advertised as having a "motherboard fault". But when I injected power with my power supply, the motherboard worked fine. Perhaps there was an issue with the power adapter or DC input jack that they mistook for being a motherboard issue.
