I found a low mileage gt350. I’m seriously considering trading my C8 for it. The manual transmission and the voodoo engine seem so much more engaging than the c8 stingray

Its definitely more engaging. having owned both here's my thoughts...
The corvette will feel more special to walk up to in a parking lot and actually sit in. as well as being put together better. However, driving dynamics wise, there's no getting away form the fact that the Shelby is MUCH more engaging to drive and sounds better inside and out. very different cars for sure. if all your looking for is driving engagement then you'll like the Shelby.
BUT I prefer the way the Camaro 1LE drives compared to both haha. and like I stated in previous videos, id take the 1LE over the Shelby. Hope that helps man thanks for watching!

@7:24 "...don't get an R if you think you're going to get in it and feel special.." ? Lol. That's funny. Trust me, you feel special when you get in it.

As an R owner - if you swap the cup2 out for all-seasons it becomes a much better all around car. However, you 100% need a second car. I tried having it as my only car for about 6-7 months but then eventually had to get a Honda as well. Mainly because of the splitter/ride height; too many restrictions there for daily use. I still would always get the R over the regular 350 (and I live in NJ) but that is my preference.

Great points. I’d take a nom R if given the option but beyond that I’d want a 20-22 GT500. My 700 HP Terminator is great but at times I want more modern tech

I can understand that. It would be hard to go from 700 down to a NA car with 200HP less haha

I own the 2019 GT350 and can barely get down from my driveway on the street. With R it wouldn't be possible without getting the car on ramps. That would defeat the purpose of having R all together for me.

The GT-350 IMO is the greatest drivers car ever built!

These engines have never been known to explode. Literally one of the dumbest things I’ve ever heard.
The issues with the GT350 were limited to a small percentage of cars made between 2016-2018, and it had nothing to do with the engine, but rather the excessive vibration which caused component issues.
The actual “exploding engine” you’re referring to was caused by a mixture of the excessive vibration and faulty oil filter from 2016-2018. The oil filter would back out under high stress and would spew burning oil all over the engine bay.
Please educate yourself before you say dumb shit on the internet.

as soon as you start talking "values" and predicting this as a money maker, you lose all credibility. stop comparing modern cars with classic cars which are in fact collectible. ask the guys who bought the "limited" production pace car corvettes that are selling for $10k.

    • @kevinscott2609
      @kevinscott2609 Před rokem

Nobody knows what will be collectible until it becomes just that. It’s certainly a special car that was built in limited numbers.

I bought my 2020 GT350 2.5 years ago with 1100 miles on it for $68,000 and I could sell it today for well over $70,000.
The fact that I can sell a used car for more than I paid for it is 1000% value and it is definitely being treated as a collector car.
Stop running your ignorant little suck hole and let big boys talk about the car market.
