Captiv8 is absolutely the ball for me, when it sees friction it’s is so dependable making it’s move and you can play it in the track on the house shot or move left give it hand and watch it come back. I’m a low rev speed match player and couldn’t be happier ! Paired this with Widow 2.0. Hybrid, Phase 2 , and grabbing the Innovator to fill out the top of the bag for high volume and tournaments. DONT SLEEP IN THE CAPTIV8 which is my first DV8 ball so so pleased. Thanks Charles , keep up the amazing work and variety of reviews !
The Sensor has been my go to ball on the burn. It gives me a very predictable reaction even on second shift lanes with a lot of carry down.

It’s More about performance, anything above rhino or hustle can be considered a high end ball. Don’t believe there is a need to describe a high end ball. It’s more about what the purpose of the ball you are considering. What conditions are you looking to use said ball.

The Captiv8 is much cleaner than the DGV pearl. You could definitely have them in the same bag!

I have the brutal collision and the verge solid and love them. I put the Brunswick compound on the verge solid and it is fantastic. Now looking for a step down, DGV pearl, captive8, or scorpion sting

I would assume 1500 grit, but they stopped putting that info on the Storm website.
