The fact that we've somehow turned one of the most tragic, needlessly violent situations in the middle east into a football match where we've picked sides is the most disgusting part of this whole thing. The war between Israel and Hamas, the hostage crisis, and the humanitarian crisis in Gaza are destroying our collective humanity.

Second, Israel isn't fighting at the moment solely for land. Or have you not paid any attention to the hostages Hamas has taken? Neither side is blameless in this conflict, and both must concede something in order for this to end.
Hamas declines all forms of peace. They always did, their founding document says that all non-muslims should be eliminated and there should never negotiated resolutions between Palestine and Israel. And they are also murdering gazans who protest against them, and extort them to do thing if they want to acces the foreign aid and food. And hamas leadership is interested in keeping up this fight as long as possible so they can steal more money.
