My first motorcycle was a 1986 Rebel 450. I bought it in 1993. Unfortunately, in 1994 it was totaled when someone turned left right in front of me. I'm glad I wasn't totaled.
I just bought one of these for my first bike. I'm in love. It doesn't have it's original paint thought, it was painted silver. Haha the rumbling exhaust gets me alot of attention. Everyone who sees it loves it. In Canada and being only 1900 sold I feel like I've found a lost treasure.
86 vette. Virago. Rebel. Shadow. MAGNA MUSTANG and iroc. 86 was a year the best of everything came out. I still have my 86 GT Performer too. And 86 Magna. Heck yeah dude.
On the opposite side of the battery, there is a tool compartment with a lock on it. Did you happen to open it and find the original tool kit? it should be in a blue vinyl bag with the feeler gunge on the outside in a slip cover. Inside that bag is a tool for every part of that bike. Honda made an amazing machine. I have an 1986 and bought it as the second owner in 1989. It has 15K and runs smooth as silk. Bought it as a starter bike and never bought another.
I had a 2013 250, it got stolen and I found a 1987 rebel 450 10k miles kept indoors temp controled, perfect condition for $1100. Absolutely love it!

I owned Rebel 450 back in 1987 brand new. Love it...

Love the fact that Kaplan loves all bikes, little choppers like this, Harleys and dirtbikes😎

I'm not sure I would call that exhaust sound a "rumble" but it's an unbelievable survivor.
Back in 1988 I rode the same bike from Miami to NC...I put over 30k.miles on it...it was absolutely bullet proof..
Just got a near perfect 87' 450 in glory red. love it
Now that's the style I love
I’m going to be owning the same one in grey! I’m 5’1 and 120lbs and it fits me just right 😍 so stoked!
I have this same bike in grey - 1250k miles and original manual for $1,500 in mint condition. Just got it and excited - my first bike!

Just watched your Rebel 250 vid and this 450 seems to be smaller... or the pegs are too high... don't know... it's beautiful though!!!
I love these Lil' bastards! 👍😊👍 Hope it found a loving home!
