@@mr.hacker7873 playing weekend league is one of the worst experiences. Rivals during the week are far more enjoyable as players feels responsive especially in defense

Regarding the boycott thing, EA doesn't make money from people just playing the game. People not buying FC points and not playing at all has the exact same impact on their bottom line.

Nah with live service games like fifa cod etc they want you on the game if you aren’t spending money then they want you to spend the time the track those stats and if player engagement is down then that will hurt business and shareholders aren’t going to want to see that also the less you play the less you’ll buy fifa points because EA advertises opening packs as soon as you hop into ultimate team if you have a constant ad in your face telling you to buy something because you’ll get cool stuff kids especially will fold

I still play on Old Gen because I literally can’t stand the AI pressure and Auto Defending on New Gen. I always been an Elite player with 16-18 wins but😂Getting 9 wins on New Gen

I have been able to stop it, if they try it once always put the goalkeeper on the line when they're on the edge of the area. After you save it 3-4 times they'll lose because that's all they have in the locker.
It's easy to defend bro, just move your keeper far post/ near post, you have like 2-3 seconds to do it

Fifa 22 old gen (last fifa i bought) was very good, despite almost no attacking ai and scoring the same goal over and over. Old gen is the closest to the classic days now.
Once I switched to old gen in December out of curiosity I never came back to new gen. Besides the stupid flick up volley thing (which you can defend by moving your keeper), it’s much more playable.
Unfortunately there will be no old gen version for the next game, at least i heard so.
I stuck to Old gen last fifa, it was fun mainly bc I just could not get used to last gen's fifa and I used fb Cristiano and he just scored almost everything for me. More goals than games on straight fut champs. The only thing I hated was the overpowered corners that people spammed 24/7

This week in WL and rivals, played elite div on old gen xbox, and got beat by a gold team with 3 of the worst tots lol. Old gen is literally so sweaty. 10 depth, counter attack, 2 man pressure and sombrero flick bycicles is all people do no matter who I played in rivals or champs on old gen. Nothing my keeper can do. Still went 16-4 and got david and vitinha from picks tho. Every game is like 6 goals scored to 4 conceded. Old gen players exploit every single OP mechanic.

Second year in a row playing Old Gen on a new console. It's infinitely more fun for me, and I don't think I'd still be playing fifa if I stuck with the new gen

I switch between old gen and current gen depending on if I'm at home or the GFs home. I don't see much diff in graphics but there are other differences.

People who prioritize graphics over gameplay are frauds, and they wonder why their games are magically 80+ GB. It's not content. It's textures. People can say what they want, but if they prefer graphics over gameplay, they need to go play screensavers cause there is no reason why graphics should be the main priority over actual gameplay. What is the point of looking great if it plays like shit? I would rather play something that looks like shit but plays amazing.
The only thing that is better in new gen is the additional scenes they add for example first person view of referee or locker room scenes and the graphics are not even that bad

Nick, i feel you. They boycot was a good idea, but i think the idea to boycot fifapoints is more do able. But, i think the allure of spending my be harder for some than others. I think a clearer message to ea, would be something where Ea actually can see that no one is buying fifa points, without just not buying points. i live in Belgium, and here Eafc and the previous fifas have been designated as gambling. So Eafc and fifa in belgium doesnt have a store with the option for fifa points. The govt had it removed from the game for Belgium. So i can say ive never spent money on Fifa or eaFc... cuz it isnt possible, without having to jump through stupid hoops, or face fines.. So my way of going further with your idea 2 not spend fifa points, would be ... what if everyone just downloaded the belgian version of eaFc 24 or 25. Create an account with belgium as your location, and set the language to english like i have. If everyone did that, Fifa points would be finshed over night.. with that part of the store removed from everyones eaFc 24. Just like that we would also have leveled the playing field globabally.. And Ea could do nothing about it, cuz the fifa poiints section has been completely removed.. That would send EA the clearest message that the global community means buisness!!! Im pretty sure ea would freak out if the masses were playing a version of their game with fifa points removed.. Let me know what u think.. Great content as aslways brother

As an elite player on old gen, I really don't enjoy playing as there is too many rebounds and there is no skill.

I like new Gen for career mode but online, old Gen feels much more free. Still gotta deal with the occasional dude who only spams flick ups though.

Instead of having a boycott in general to have a boycott around reset for an hour or two could make difference where the amount of players on the peak of the day changes because so many people dont mind to not play an hour or two, but no fifa points is a good start even when I didn’t buy any since November so it hasn’t really made me being able to help out

I play on old gen and even with an fast ssd in the ps4 it’s still slow ea limiting the speeds like I can’t even browse the menus nicely the loading times r faster tho

Old gen Game is fun but for me on PS4 at least, navigating through the menus is horrible. So delayed, and even glitchier than new gen. Sometimes the packs or sbcs don’t render so I have no idea what I’m looking at 😂
