The two place names in the title are both fictional monikers for Lorne's home, the village of Carradale in Kintyre. They have featured strongly in art and literature, with Port-Na-Sgadan used by Carradale writer Naomi Mitchison in her work, including The Big House. Another local writer Denzil Meyrick uses Firdale in his highly acclaimed DCI Daley series of crime novels - which happily have a huge following among pipers. - Hudba
Fond memories indeed, back in '95 Flora MacDougall's son, Robert, dared to propose to his half English half French neighbour, while camping in your outskirts, 🏕celebrating our 25th this July, married in Banff no less! Greetings and blessings from Montreal everyone, Sophie and Owen are very well thank you 🎠!
I'd know that bark anywhere :-)
