I think it will be the next leap forward and I hope to see it implemented to the rest of our flying mounts after Dragonflight ends and not left in the expansion or zone exclusive. What if we had dragon riding races across all of Azeroth, and other zones.

No lmao. Its much better, much faster. If you learn it and get used to it, you will literally zoom through every zone like hell like never before. I mean, thats probably what you want right, zooming everything without a care?
