Does Banquet of eyes work on monk? Since he has fire Seven Sided Strike, and Shimmerlinn?

Sick build....I was only playing Monk before BK came out, and want to finish maxing essence mastery before moving on....this looks like a great build I'd try in the future

What's the best between Column of Shivers and Tenebrous Grasp in terms of DMG? It's Off hand vs main hand but need which deals most DMG.
Tenebrous has bit more DMG
With vithu s buff do we still need that helm? What other options do you recommend? Is another charge of the palm worth it?
You can use extra palm charge, but then you won't have almost 100% uptime on zen, this is more of a preference, test which one you like more
Could this in some way work nicely as farming build too? Maybe with mystics instead wave strike?

No, none of these skills trigger chip. It must be a full loss of control. So if he has invocations on some of his legendaries and utilizes the stun ancestral property it would proc, or tremor family reforge bonus. Examples for full loss of control are fear, freeze, stun, and some blind effects. For monk, the most reliable way to proc chip is from freedoms gale essence on shoulders for imprisoned fist or any version of dragon flight. There's also one for flying kick and 1 for wave strike as well as 2 for inner sanctuary. I would have to log in and read off all the exact essences but it's fairly easy to test for yourself. Just do an ability on a mob in PVE and see if it turns gray (petrified), if it does then the curse is active and chip has been procced. You can also read the descriptions and look for those key words. If it says things like "chill" "knock-up" "knockback" "immobilize" "reduce vision" "burn" "bleed" "psn" or "slow" these are all examples of possible harmful effects, and some of them are considered a form of loss of control and could be affected by potency in some cases, but DO NOT proc chip gem. There are some effects that may have a hidden stagger mechanic, he often talks about how the branding bond mystic strike essence or the laser willbillow wave strike "CCs" enemies, but it's not a real/hard cc, more of a reaction (like hit recovery from D2LOD), it doesn't proc chip nor is it affected by barons set or potency. Hope this helped.

Shal baas takes time to get 25% attack speed while vithus gives it instantly and with all buffs you can have it up all the time, but shall bas can be an option

I wonder, maybe this could be a viable build for low res players.
Also on a lookout for that, i dont have enough reso to engage and chase kills in high ranks, getting deleted. Crusader felt better with bubble and cc on pylons, still trying to find some playstyle for low reso monk.
This is pretty good on low reso players, CC style support build

Yeah that game hurts this build a lot... If you happen to see "immune to DMG" just palm away
