信徒最可悲的是，面对問题和困难，不是去硏究它，探索解决方案，而是往聖经的预言中找答案，自从有末日预言，每个年代的信徒，當有世界災难，天災戰亂發生，都往聖經对号入座，以為有生之年就能见到基督再来，从使徒時代就开始了。當前以巴之亂，信徒又兴奋起來，公义憐憫放一邊，認為神预定的是可喜的，歡喜快樂迎接主再來吧！是這样嗎?信预言即相信命定，也就否定悔改及祈禱对未来的改变。

I have been listening to the inspiring sermons of Pastor Chan on this series and I am from Hong Kong. Can you please clarify further the interpretation of Rom 11:25 which states there is hardening of hearts of Israelite until the full number of the gentiles has come. While I am convinced of your interpretation of the 於 是 should read "in the same manner", but why is there no time sequence as to the massive salvation of Jews. As today, we still do not witness massive Jews turning to Christ though there is unprecedented number of Messianic Jews receiving Christ in the past 20 years. Can we interpret the passage as to mean while the manner in which the Jews to turn to Christ is similar to that of the gentiles, large number of Jews turning to Christ should happen after the number of gentiles is full. The time of which is still unknown though it is approaching as many gentiles are turning to God especially in the Asia, Africa and South America.

Thanks for your thoughtful comment. My take is that keeping the notion of "in the same manner" the meaning seems to be "massive number of Jews" will be saved "as the number of Gentiles has come in". The sequential sense is still intact because Paul is still referring to the end of time. But the sequential sense is not so much as "after" the full number of Gentiles but "in the same manner" the full number of Israel.
