    Some say you can poke a needle in tire between treads to feel depth where you just touch the cords and then set Blade depth a little shallow of that so you don't expose cords/belts in tires.
    Good video of that tool in use! And I like your advice about "do this till you get bored or tired and then go back to it!"

    I used to pay extra to have my Paddle Tires Comp cut like that.

      I usually cut them with a reciprocating saw with a sharpened blade to get the big chunks but the cheap tire groover let's me get them all the way to the chords. That makes them good and soft. Thanks for watching.!!!

    Have you run bolted tires before for hill climbs? And they just look really cool on a rail buggy :)

      I haven't tried that. The places I ride around locally don't let ya run bolted tires! But I agree they do look cool!

      I've always bought my stuff used from market place or craigslist! They don't make this tire in this size anymore so the only way to get it is from somebody.
