Honestly, South was way funnier pre season 12. I get what they are doing, though it's not very funny (even though I sgree with the messages of episodes like these).
I just don't see it to be honest. I think that South Park like The Simpsons; started going downhill in the later seasons, what kept southpark somewhat fresh was that they were able to keep parroting current events and come up with new styles of humor but.... Not with the same effect that they used to do with episodes like Osama Bin laden has farty pants
By observing the world around them and reflecting it in their episodes, with talent that they have and not giving a fuck… That’s why i love them!

I view this show as a mixed bag. Some of the episodes are really good, some of them are really delusional and some of them are mediocre. Overall, I think Beavis and Butthead does better a better job at social commentary.
At this point, someone could easily do a spoof of some of the South Park episodes, because of how delusional some of them are. I mean, the writers of this show are still obsessed with Trump while we have a senile president who sniffs kids. It’s just pathetic, bizarre and surreal at this point.

This show is beautifully therapeutic. It’s been with us for so many years of corruption, atrocities, and stupidity in the world, and I thank the stars that it will never be cancelled. It is just as necessary now as it has always been. When the world has gone mad, the best thing we can do is laugh. Satire is a true blessing.
