@@GeorgeCardoso-mh2ei There's numerous tests done with modern matte vs glossy films, the argument that glossy is much better is null now. 4 years ago sure, but not today.
It is almost very difficult to perceive any difference now & enough for you to care.. Especially if you are in a lit room - the matte will always win due to light glare.

Indeed, the first brand that releases that will get my money. I don't care if QD OLED has a better picture quality, I don't want my image to flicker when I have g-sync on and looks WOLED is far superior for this. But all the bad things I read about the matte finish of the LG WOLED 32" is deal breaker for me. So, glossy WOLED 4k 32" would be my dream monitor, but it doesn't exist yet.

@@thedisplayguyplease check if elmb/bfi mode is bright enough in at least sdr in a dark room. input lag at different refresh rates too. maybe see if there's a difference in text or AA quality in games with the differing subpixel arrangement vs qd oled gen1 and 2-3. thank you for your effort

got my XG27ACS yesterday and now it has horizontal line flicker occasionally and got 2 blackouts like 5 seconds

There was SO SO SO MANY people asking for this in the olef market. It was essentially the number 1 asked for thing if you look at threads on these monitors people saying they won't buy one just because it's matted

The FO27Q3 in the 24-inch mode is limited to 1080p at 240hz with VRR. 360hz only works with VRR disabled. The LG 32GS95UE 480hz has the same fuzzy image issue as that FO27Q3, since it's also limited to 1080p in that mode. The ASUS PG27AQN 360Hz IPS doesn't have that fuzzy image issue since it runs at 2368x1332 instead of 1080p, but that mode has serious reliability issues. A lot of games like Fortnite, Apex, and Valorant don't work in that mode. Basically, this entire dual mode thing is a mess.

@@LordAngelus The LG dual mode works flawless, it comes in really handy for me. Hitting 480fps on my laptop. I got the LG mounted here in front of me. I also have the PG32UCDM here and 2 weeks left of testing.
I believe it has an aspect ratio mode which works kinda similar. So if you want to play 1280 by 960 for example it will allow you to either stretch the image out (like normal) or add black bars to the side so the actual viewing scale is much smaller if that makes sense!

yes please this would be the ultimate recommendation for gaming and productivity. keep everything else the exact same. even at 3440x1440 hdmi 2.1 can do 10 bit 4:4:4 RGB at 240hz WITHOUT dsc.

So? 4k takes too much gpu processing power. 1440p is enough for me visually and gives me more frames. Also 32 inches is way too big.

@@MrGunner121 It still uses the same first gen OLED layer as the PG27AQDM. The only different is that ''3rd gen'' MLA layer. The MLA layer is mainly for improving brightness and viewing angles. The MLA layer has nothing to do with the subpixel arrangement.
