I was re-reading some old comics from the 90s, where drax talked like a caveman and wore some purple space costume with hood and a cape. It was weird.
Hmmm, an idea. What if there was a group of Guardians before Star-Lord's group? With Nikki and Vance Astro (sans shield of course) and Starkhawk, etc. Maybe even including Star-Lord's dad and Yondu (The disbanding event of the team maybe resulted in him being traumatized into being a theif and causing the loss of his fin) I dunno, might work maybe?

Rocket is not a raccoon nor is he from Earth. He comes from a planet in the Keystone Quadrant, on the other side of the Galaxy. He is an animal that was genetically modified by a group of robots tasked with overseeing a mental Asylum. As the robots gained sentience they created the modified animals to care for the patients. As time goes by he eventually leaves the Asylum planet known as halfworld and joins the rest of the Marvel universe and becomes what we know if him today. Rocket Raccoon was based on a song by one of the greatest bands of all time from the best album of all time; The Beatles, The Beatles ("The White Album"): Rocky Raccoon.

In the movie Starlord was abducted at a young age and what I loved about it is his very child like disposition he played. It is very appropriate he would have a childish way a handling situations like the dance-off at the end of the film.
I have a feeling this movie will be good, news about it had died down recently and I haven't seen any coming soon posters in cinemas. Hmm maybe they ran out of marketing budget, well from the trailers it looks nice. We will just have to wait and see.

Drax's daughter was not killed, she is the egomaniac psychic Moondragon. In the comics she killed her own father, who came back with severe brain damage. Drax was originally killed by Thanos while going home from seeing Elvis. Groot was an evil conqueror that was killed by termites. Rocket Raccoon was genetically altered along with many other animals to work in an intergalactic insane asylum. He first appeared in the regular Marvel Universe meeting the Hulk, whose response to a talking raccoon was "Bah! This is stupid!"

T0X1CSPIKES Thanatos isn't a titan. Most often he is described as a god of non-violent death. Other times he is labeled as a daemon or even personification of death.
Thanos, the name, actually comes from Athanasios, which means immortal. Thanos is simply a shortened or derivative version of it. Which plays nicely into Thanos' backstory of being cursed by Death with immortality.

Actually i heard there are 2 versions of Rocket to where one is an alien that just looks like a raccoon & 2nd one being he was a genetic experiment gone wrong.
Yondu and nebula have been confirmed for this movie also....and I disagree the original GOTG are the most popular of the two teams...they have been around almost as long as X-Men & avengers.

They're making a wonder woman movie now
They will see how the reaction to her in Batman vs Superman goes before they do another Wonder Woman movie most likely. Wonder Woman vs Aquaman might be a better movie than Batman vs Superman. Batman might use Kryptonian technology against Superman in the movie so in that way he could have a chance, as Kryptonian machines were left behind in the previous movie. Both Amazons (as used in Wonder Woman with invisible plane, etc.) and Atlanteans (building a civilization underwater as in Aquaman) are suppose to have advanced science so that would be more of a fair fight from the start.
