Great reaction. 'Shine' is way up there among my own favourites, Su's vocals are sublime and the instrumentals are perfect. You really need to see the Legend M performance - just Su, Moa and an acoustic guitar on stage and arguably Su-metal's finest vocal performance to date coupled with incredibly emotional choreo from Moa.
This is the second song of the Trilogy of Lights ('Starlight' and 'Arkadia' are the first and third songs) which describe the stages of mourning we might go through after losing somebody - shock and grief, coming to terms and acceptance and finally moving on, never forgetting but looking toward the future and better times to come.
Your joy and enthusiasm is infectious!

Wish you all the best for the concert and hope they will blow you away! Saw a snippet of the (I believe) Texas concert and Momo did her little rap in Metali. All I can say is BLOODY AWESOME! Su's vocals in Shine are just outstanding, but that's not surprising I guess...
I saw them live for the first time earlier this year in Helsinki with Sabaton and now im traveling to Stockholm in November to see their full show
[Shine] is called the light trilogy by arranging it with [Starlight], [Shine], and [Arkadia].

Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。 This is a compilation from two shows in Japan but the live debut in 3-girl formation of "Shine" was done at The Forum, CA on Oct.11, 2019. The musicians in the girls' back in this video are West (American) Kamis : Chris Kelly (Guitar), C.J. Masciantonio (Guitar), Clint Tustin (Bass) and Anthony Barone (Drums). They played in Japan on Jan.26, 2020. You will see them on Sep.3 with the replacement bassist. We can rest assured as long as American Knights protect our queen and princesses when Japanese Samurais do not. They are both great.
I have experienced BABYMETAL show live 16 times, but have yet to see this beautiful song. Someday ... that is my dream.

This is my favourite song of Babymetal. Not only cause is a great song but also for the amazing Su vocals throughout the song but also Moa and Su's background vocal harmonies which give me goosebumps everytime I hear this song but above all because of the intrinsic meaning of the lyrics. Rest in peace Mikio Fujioka: a legend in the guitar metal history, shining in our hearts, shinging forever!

It surprises me that you have not seen/heard Shine. Of all the awesome and amazing songs by BabyMetal, Shine is my favorite. And that is saying a lot.

When you take one of the most greatest metal band in the world and put the magic of 3 girls it give Babymetal. Nothing more to say.
You should watch the piano version of Monochrome. It's part of the first take series and really showcases Su's talent.
You finally saw it. Su wrote in a magazine three years ago that she had a special feeling for this song.
I think it would have been a masterpiece in a different era.
I think it's probably a requiem for Mikio Fujioka, who played the guitar for a long time in Kamiband.

"Shine" is definitely among my favorites and I consider this one of Su-metal's finest works as a vocalist. Specially that part between the little solo and the break. She's all passion. The way she sings and performs moves me deeply. The Legend M version is even better, though.

Houston show was a short set. It was good, but not great! Not saying bad. But they been touring and were a little tired. Just my take. Hope they be back and play longer and more music. Still a good package show.
