No matter how many times I watch this video it always brings a tear to my eye. Such a wonderful tribute to Mikio Fujioka.

Great reaction, thanks for doing this one and thanks for the shout out. I just knew from the first shaky fan cam I saw of this that it would be a very special song.
I stumbled on BABYMETAL completely by accident. I'd lost interest in listening to much music that was new, I had my old favourites and stuck to them for the most part. Then one day 4 or 5 years ago I was watching some reactions to something like Doctor Who and a music reaction to one of my old favourites popped up at the side and I watched that and that person had reacted to BABYMETAL and just out of curiosity I watched that ... and then I was hooked and binged on BABYMETAL for the next few hours ... days ... weeks....months ... years and still counting.

I can't understand a word Su is singing...... so how can she bring tears to my eyes? I think the language barrier has been a blessing for her as it caused to Su to learn how to communicate emotion, translating the song lyrics, by inflection and tone instead of language. She may never have Aretha Franklin four octave range or perform the vocal gymnastics of Christina Aguilera, but neither of these performers have ever brought tears to my eyes. It's the qualities of Su's voice that makes her special, not necessarily its quality, and much of that comes from trying to get people who do not understand her language to understand the emotion of the song.

For me I discovered them by accident looking for anime theme songs and boy! What a discovery it has been. Watching and listening to them for the past 8 years. I feel like an old father who is so proud that these girls have grown up to become graceful refine young ladies. Queen Su has a voice that can soothe a tired dying old soul like mine. Babymetal always makes me smile. .Kitsune Up!

The Legend M version with Moametal playing guitar is my most favorite version! This song is emotional enough as it is but, Moametal on guitar and then Queen Su-metal joins coming out of the mist to sing so beautifully. It gets me every time and the chemistry between them two is palpable. If they were to touch fingers, I think it would set off a supernova! Love it! Anyway, I found Babymetal last April by chance on CZcams. A Girls react to Babymetal showed up in my recommendations and it intrigued me so I watched it and thought it was pretty cool. I watched Gimme Choco after that and dove head first down the Fox hole. If I'm ever feeling bad, I just listen to Babymetal. They fix everything! Kitsune Up! 🤘🦊🤘

I stumbled into Babymetal the first time back in early 2014 and thought it was very interesting but didn't really know it was a real thing. I thought it was a novelty act. I rediscovered them in summer of 2017 and binged watched one Sunday afternoon. Even now I can tell you this is not something I would normally like. I am not usually a big fan of over the top production and I usually cringe if there is any dancing involved with music but somehow I love these aspects of Babymetal. For me it all starts and ends with Su. Her vocals and the way she presents the songs touches my soul like no on or nothing else I know. I can't explain why, but she is like an addictive drug to me. Of course once you're in the Fox hole you cannot help but love everyone else involved. Moa, Yui, the Avengers, the Kami band, and everyone else that has supported them on stage and behind the scenes.
About Su's comments, I always appreciate how the message is always about persevering. It's about helping people have confidence and get over obstacles. These are things we all need sometimes. No preaching, no divisive political messaging, just self reflection and self improvement.

    Nice reaction, thanks!
Amazing and very emotional song. And now I need to listen to "Arkadia" desperately to end the trilogy and I believe you need that too...
I was bored watching reaction videos on YT, sick and tired of all kind of metal I had heard before when a BABYMETAL reaction video popped up it was "Catch me if you can" on late December 2019. And I got hooked immediately, binge watching all their videos, interviews, reactions... I felt that it was something new, fresh and different, in a good way :)

I was THAT guy who heard of BABYMETAL but never gave them a chance because I assumed they were a gimmick or a typical pop act. But they were getting so much attention on CZcams that I finally watched a video... and it was Headbanger. After that I was hooked.

The Su and Moa duo version of this
From Legend M ( Moa's 20th) which is one of 2 videos in this completion is my favourite . There is so much history between Su and Moa you can feel it in the performance. 🤘❤🤘

Great reaction my friend came up to me and said you’ve got to listen to this, he showed me the video of gimme chocolate of course I was like what the hell is this I was confused but amazed at the time. I thought it was one of those Facebook videos and didn’t realise they were a genuine band until a couple of years ago I just wish I looked them up sooner.

Nice & thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。Whenever I see Moa and Riho hunker down twice holding their chests to the Su's angelic voice, I am moved emotionally and feel deep sorrow . This audio is from 2020 Makuhari Day-2 show, so the music was played by West (=American) Kami Band. They are excellent, too. I came across BABYMETAL on July 7, 2019 (I can't forget the exact date) when I by chance watched a BBC video showing their performance at 2019 Glastonbury Festival, UK. I was surprised at their singing in Japanese, my mother tongue, in a huge festival in foreign country at first. Then the girls and masked musicians whom I had never known knocked me down. And I have been obsessed by them since then.ヽ(^o^)丿

@@martinmetal7481 Thanks for your comment. I know that Glastonbury show was not their best. I was very surprised at many fans complaining of dead audience there and BBC's poor sound engineer. Nevertheless, it was awesome to me who has been a longtime Jazz and Funk lover. (Girls band had not existed in my 50 years music life till then 😄. Of course BABYMETAL is not a mere girls band at all). Oh! you went that Brixton show where the Syncopation was played outside of Japan for the first time. I went to Makuhari Day-1 show a year ago and I could manage to get tickets for shows at Budokan next week. Keeping my fingers crossed for COVID19 situation NOT getting worse.

I was at home. Like a year ago. I had been avoiding even listening to them out of some idiotic reason.
Then I put (I'm pretty sure it was) the BMC video, and I was blown away!! This was nothing like I had imagined! Cue diving deep into the fox hole, and I'm ever since a massive fan and loyal defender, when they get flak from idiots like I was. 😉🤘🏻🦊

Oh and they have made Me feel like no other group or band. What I mean is: I like lots of music. Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds is my fave band, and Slayer was my fave metal band for years. And while I still love both, Babymetal is a band, where I feel physically happy and strangely proud, whenever I hear their music, their voices, see their dancing or just hear anything great about them. So I'm grateful I got wiser, and no matter what happens, Babymetal is now a permanent fixture in my life. 😊

In 2016 I started a new job that was very stressful, so I used to listen to Keiko Matsui, a Japanese jazz pianist. The CZcams algorithm suggested Baby Metal and I spent the next month listening to all their music on repeat 🤣
