One thing I noticed when I went there, was how clear the air was! The clearest air I think I ever witnessed!
Even tho I was a smoker at the time in my life, I just could NOT
“light up” in that beautiful clear air area - i felt like it would be so wrong!
It’s so nice, and yes, it makes you just want to enjoy the clean air, the great views and calmness of it all 🙌🏼

Hi, do you think it’s feasible if I book a Lyft or Uber beforehand and look for the ride at the scheduled time at the pickup location?

gracias EDD , iremos en unos 15 días más a san francisco con mi hija (20) y visitaremos muir woods y haremos el mismo viaje. no sabía como llegar desde union square y no queriamos arrendar vehículo. el viaje en ferry y autobus desde sausalito nos pareció muy conveniente. MUCHAS GRACIAS......................LIMACHE, CHILE.

Hi Ed this week I'm going to go hiking but I'm not sure which one to go if Tamalpis or Muir Woods Railroad which one you recommend.

I have not been to the first one, so I cannot speak to it, however, Muir Woods is always a safe bet!
You pick the trail you want based on the difficulty, Muir woods is also great if you're taking kids as there are some options for some easy trails.

You can catch the ferry at the ferry building. Market street leads right to the ferry building, it’s close to the financial district. Hope this helps 👍🏼
There's np place in the world that smells as clean and fresh as standing in the middle of John Muir Woods, once you find it ! lol Great video. Try to go on a weekday when it's a little slower. Also drive up the coast a little to get some fresh oysters at Tomales Bay

It's called Golden Gate Ferry and you can get on it at the Ferry Building close to the Financial District. I recommend using your clipper card if you have one as you get a discount!

El ferry se toma en el Ferry Building (asi se llama el edificio, esta cerca del financial district). Y el bus se toma en Sausalito, una ciudad que esta en esa parada de ferry. La parada de bus esta muy cerca.

Como se regresa a SF??? Nuevamente autobus 66 y ferry? A que hora es el último ferry
Exactamente. El bus regresara Muir Woods, el ultimo bus el dia que yo fui, llego a las 5:00 PM.
Pero, fue una situación rara, dado a que había todavía mucha gente en el parque. Tuvieron que llamar a otro bus para que fuera por la gente que no alcanzo a subirse al primer bus que llego.

What bus did you take going to Pohono after the Ferry docks at Sausalito?
The entrance isn’t that affordable imo. It’s 15 a person plus 9.50 to park
